Lime Green Mickey Head...

OK..so I first read about this a couple of days ago..If I have lime green mickey head tied to my bag/person, Dis'ers will come up and say hi? How awesome!
How many of you have had this happen? Any fun stories?
I'll be there from next Tues to Sun...look for me!

I'll have my LGMH on my orange/brown backpack

Look for me on Tuesday in MK, Wednesday in Epcot and Thursday in DHS.

I'll also be wearing a yellow t shirt with a flaming treble clef on it in the MK, a red polo shirt that says Northgate Flames Band on it on Wednesday and a blue shirt on Thursday that will also say Northgate flames band on it on somewhere (haven't see the shirt yet).

If you can't tell my son's high school band will be there. Look for them marching before the parade on Tuesday.

We happened into a Dis'r to two during our last trip, AND saw one driving up I95 on our way back to New York as well.

Our last trip we stayed for 12 days. Had alien green mickey heads on stoller,backpacks. No one came up to us,O well. But we are going to add them again when we go back May 16th-21st!

I also put mine on my bag each trip. I have never seen another one or has anyone ever stopped me to say "Hi!". I'm going to keep trying!

I had mine on for a trip last August. When we did the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour, the tour guide made comment on it. She talked about how often she used to be on the DIS but how she had cut back in the last little while (time constraints).

I saw one on a woman's backpack in line for Soarin', but I didn't go up and say hi because she was about a dozen people ahead of me in line, and we all know how DIS-ers feel about line cutters!

I had one on both sides of my see through lanyard and one on my sneaker last time but no joy Hoping to make them MORE obvious on our next trip. Must say I haven't noticed any on OTHERs either! Oh I tell a lie, last time I was being hurried off when I saw one and said "oh look! A DISer" but had no time to stop. NEXT TIME I'll share the

I always get recognized at Disney. Has happened the last 5 trips! I think people recognize me from my signature picture, or from reading my old trip reports. But if you tie a lime green anything to your stroller/backpack, you are almost guaranteed to be seen by at least one DISr!

I've only been around a few months so I didn't really know about this. Cool - I'll give it a go in August (8/15-8/23 CBR).

Are the LGMH's stickers or paint swatches? If not stickers, how do you attach them - laminate them (puch a hole through and string it on to something)?

I liked the lanyard pouch idea.

Does anyone/everyone put a sign in their hotel window? I was thinking of doing that this trip.

Two trips and never attracted another DISser. Must say I found one though. They had a LGMH on their resort room door or window. I left them a note. turn out that they were checking out that day. When we got back to our room that night, we had a box waiting for us. The DISsers had left us all their extra bottles of water and Powerade and some ponchos. A most welcome gift!

My husband kept wondering what I was going to do if I actually did find a DISser or one found me. I was more concerned about what he was going to think if someone gave me the Focker look.

I haven't done the lime green Mickey but I met a Diser at Pooh's thoughtful spot and had a great conversation about planning trips and flying on Southwest

I went to Home Depot and thought I would have to look carefully at the Disney paint swatches to find the right one.

Nope. The stack of Alien Green was much smaller than the stack for any of the other colors. Some DIS-er(s) definitely were there before me.

Someone had a sign on their door last year at POP century asking Disers to sign it so we did and left a happy message.
