lime green backpacks

I responded to another poster on a different thread (sorry I don't remember whom or which one) who was looking for bright colored backpacks, so her kids could spot her easily. I recommended the L.L. Bean Original Bookpack ($24) or the Junior Original Bookpack ($19) - they are reasonably priced, very sturdy and well designed, and come with Bean's lifetime guarantee - but most importantly they come in lime green!! Shipping is $4.50, and they can be monogrammed for $5 if you want. No, I don't work for Bean's, but I'm from Maine and can attest to the quality of their products.

I hope it wasn't inappropriate that I put this out for other DISers. I checked the DIS store and it doesn't sell anything like that. I just thought DISers might be interested in another way to identify themselves to each other in the parks. I'm new at this, as you can see from the number of my posts. But I'm a faithful lurker and have planned my last two land/sea cruise trips and my upcoming WDW vacation almost totally from the information available on this site and from these boards.

Thanks! I appreciate notices like yours, even if it is product-oriented. Otherwise, how else are we going to know what's out there for us? I have one of Bean's deluxe book bags that I've had for over 10 years (got it before I became a Mom), and it's still going strong. Sturdy, practical, perfect size, nothing fancy to weigh it down or get in the way. Mine is purple (or eggplant might be it's official color). We're confirmed L.L.Bean customers!

FIL just retired from Beans 2 years ago in Freeport Me. My DW went to high school there and I fish and hunt allot and yo can not BEAT BEANS for the quality of their products or their customer service. It is Kind of Buy it once Buy it for life. My kids have had jackets with zippers that have ripped out or jammed and they ask, want it repaired while you wait or do you want to just grab a new one. Get their bag and you will be happy.
