Lily's Wish Tripping (and Mama's PTR!) WDW/GKTW 2/6/11-2/12/11 UPDATED with new pics

About Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique... Yeah I saw the starting at $189. Makes you wonder if the prices start at $189 where do they end at... LOL :confused3 :rotfl2: Our little princess wants to be Ariel... princess: who can say no to that.

About ADRs I have gone back and forth and back and forth on this. And right now I'm not. Since we live by Disneyland we have the option of doing character dining, in the future. So I'm thinking we don't want to take big chunks out of our day or organize our time around ADRs. When I was going to do it I was thinking Chef Mickey's (I've read lots of good reviews about it) and a Princess one.

Now I'm thinking quick bites to eat and eating for free at GKTW. This will help us save the money we need for the Great Ariel Makeover!! princess:princess: Also I don't want to be tied down to having to be somewhere at a specific time.

Does this make sense!?! :confused3 Of course I could change my mind at any time!! :lmao:

So I think our planning is something else we have in common! ;) I have the same feelings about the ADR and not wanting to be on time restrictive schedule. AND same thoughts on eating, sticking to GKTW. Since we have to be careful and not exhaust Lily (which could lead to a seizure) we will grab breakfast in the morning, go out till about 1 or so, head back to GKTW, eat and nap and head back out after some down time. Except Thursday (Christmas Party) and Friday (Pirates and Princesses party). We will just remain in the village for those.

And you know what they say about the best laid plans.......if I don't have any, they can't go a rye! lol

Lil sounds like a very savvy little girl....clovers as mickey mouse genius.

Good to hear everyone is feeling better and can't wait to hear more about the trip.

Epcot has a couple of cute kid show like the one with nemo and kodak. as well as the speed cars I don't remember the names of the shows or rides but you probably can get away with just spending a few hours there...it is open until 9 pm I believe and with park hopper you can go after one of the other parks. My girls loved the nemo things there

Why, thank you. If Lily makes some more tomorrow, I think I will post a couple of pictures. It's really amazing how much they do look like Mickey once it's pointed out to you. :thumbsup2

Sounds like Epcot should stay in the plans......yay :woohoo: ! lol I am a culture freak and want to go so bad so I am glad to know that there are some things there that she would dig. Thanks!!

I LOVE your quote about the best laid plans!! :rotfl2:

We would like to go to the same MAW nights you mentioned, :santa: pirate: princess: plus maybe the Candyland night and the Kid's Night Out!! :yay: So much to do, so little time!! :wizard: I vow NOT to stress myself out about what we may have missed, but instead to focus on everything that does go right!! :thumbsup2

About ADRs if Mallory was super into certain characters I might be more inclined to make ADRs. But she is just not that into character meets. We've been to Disneyland, so she has kinda been there done that and got the T-shirt, as far as meeting characters go. I usually have to beg the kids to go take pictures with characters. I've nearly given up on that!! Notice I said nearly... :rotfl: If you feel up in the air about ADRs you could always make them now, to secure your spot, and cancel if you decide not to, as the time draws near.

I've been lurking reading many of the wish trip reports but had to respond about BBB. I took my 4yo niece last June and did the full package. It was just over $200. for that she got hair, makeup & nails done, the Ariel "fin" outfit (top and Skirt), shoes, long gloves, a purse, a wand, and another tiara besides the one they give with the princess hairstyle. Plus a photo shot where they took tons of pictures. They are also taking photo pass pictures through out the entire experience. DNiece sat great during the entire time. She felt like such a princess. That is her in my avatar picture. They also get to take the leftover makeup and 2 bottles of nail polish. Her appointment was on Sunday and stayed up until after we went home on Thursday so that her parents and grandma (who paid for it!) could see it.

Yeah we were eyeballing the Candyland game and the Kids Night out as well. I think we will for sure do the Candyland as we will be getting there on Sunday and then just hanging out at GKTW that day....but I really haven't begun planning the rest of the trip yet. Need to check out more on Epcot and HS before deciding. ;)

Wow! Sounds totally worth the money! We are so in! Thanks for the info!

So I know this has nothing to do with our planning but I wanted to post it here anyway. It has been..................................(drum roll please).........................................................over 24 hours since my last cigarette! Yay!:banana::banana::cool1::cool1::cool1::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

I bought one of those electronic cigarettes over the summer but wasn't using it right. I looked up how to properly assemble the cartridges and it's been smooth sailing ever since!

Yay!!:yay::yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Ok So since I am no longer smoking and need something to occupy my time now that I am not rushing headlong into the cold snowy weather to a smoke :) I kind of came up with a loose list of what we are going to do.

MK and AK are going to have days all by themselves. Epcot and HS are going to share a day. I believe I read that HS stays open later than Epcot so looks like Epcot will be first during the day and then HS after lunch or dinner.

Everything on the lists are things we want to hit for sure but we will hit other things if'n we want to. And we will drop things if we so fancy. :rotfl: So I guess my lists were kind of pointless but hey they gave me something to do today! :lmao:

Ok now on to the lists;

Epcot
ImageWorks – The Kodak "What If" Labs
Living with the Land
Mission: SPACE Pavilion
Test Track
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
Japan Pavilion-my husbands cousin who is in the Navy is stationed in Japan

HS
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" Movie Set Adventure
Toy Story Mania!
The American Idol Experience
The Great Movie Ride

AK
Affection Section
Kids Discovery Clubs
Kilimanjaro Safaris®
The Boneyard®
TriceraTop Spin
Wildlife Express Train

MK
Too much to list!!!

So there it is in a nutshell, the lists that I will most likely leave sitting on my table and not realize it till we are well into Virginia! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Hollie I did the same thing. I used the Disney World site. If you have not been there yet then you can order free, customized maps of the attractions you plan to visit. The web address is:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/myVacation/customizedMaps/index?id=CustomizedMapsFlashPage

Planning is just too much fun!!:banana::banana:

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Ours was pretty good and for the first time in a long time we were not running from house to house to house. We only had two places to go yesterday as that made for a nice day. ;)

I am still not smoking! :yay::yay: Pretty happy about that! I think I got it this time!

Also I found this link http://www.givekidstheworld.com/pre/Village/village-info.asp?p=village that I thought other wish families would be interested in seeing, if you haven't seen it before. Hope everyone is having a grand weekend!

So I was digging through my computer today and came across some pics that I wanted to share! Yay! lol
The first set are from our first trip to Disney. There aren't very many as I am the picture taker in the family and it was soooooo hot (end of July) so I don't have a great many pics.

Ok so this is Lily with a fake Cindy in DTD.

And again

I couldn't get a pic with her in front of fake Aurora as some chicks were hogging her. lol This trip I fully intend on getting some pics with her with real live Disney Princesses. We didn't come across very many characters on our trip which was a bummer. I think we shall have better luck this time.

Lily was just not too sure about the water coming out of the ground here at DTD. I think this age she will be more into it but it may be too cold out to do....and that is if we even make it to DTD this trip (I hope we do!).

Here CJ is all caged up in MK

Next we have CJ knocked out at CBR. Hehe he had a seriously busy day. ;)

Our upcoming trip I will be taking A LOT more pics and certainly using the photo pass. I did on our last trip but we did see any pics that we liked so we didn't buy any. This time I plan on pre-purchasing the CD and then hunting down all the photo pass photographers I can find. ;)

Ok and here are some non-Disney photos. :rolleyes1

Here is what we like to do in the summer!

Yup that's right....mud fight!!! Actually this was the only time we did it. We were filling up Lily's wading pool on an area of land that had no grass. All it took was one playful toss of a small amount of mud from mom and it was on! It was A LOT of fun but you should have seen the bathtub after we all got cleaned up! It was terrible! I should have taken pics of that! :rotfl2:

Lily likes to take pics too!

Here is the most recent pic I have of Lily, Tracy and CJ. This was at a really cool Christmas Party done by an org called A Kid Again. If you live in Ohio and have a child with a life threatening illness, let me know and I will send you think link! It's a really nifty org!

And here is a recent pic of me and Lily.

And finally one of my most favorite pics of Lily. This was taken in Hilton Head, Sc same week we went to Disney last.
