I was wondering how this was?
I was thinking of taking the kids here on Christmas Eve morning.
What is the price and menu?
How early can I book an ADR/PS?

Thanks

You do PS 60 days out like all the DLR meals. :)

It was a fun, upbeat, dancy meal. I personally felt like our family was shortchanged, but lots of people around us were spending quality time with characters and having a grand time, so I don't judge the meal by OUR experience of it, LOL.

Pancakes, Mickey waffles (bleah, IMO), they will customize omelettes for you (hubby got one with cheese and about 10,000 jalapenos). They also have rice in a rice cooker, to go with the Hawaiian theming, which was lovely for DH (not Hawaiian, but Korean), and pineapple coconut scones (others adore them, I did not like them despite being very excited for them). Some sort of banana french toast that DH insists would have caused my opinion of the meal to rise hugely, if I had had room for it. And some other things we didn't try or don't eat b/c of no room or it being meat.

Daisy, Lilo, Stitch...Minnie...that's all I remember, but the place was packed with characters, it seemed.

Ok thanks.
I wonder if the banana toast stuff is like Tonga toast at WDW?
I am pretty excited I love Lilo and Stitch!!
Altough I do find Mickey waffles kinda blah.

I have'nt been to WDW, so I don't know. He reports that it was french toast covered with bananas that looked like they were sauteed with some kind of sweet sauce that wasn't maple syrup, and you didn't need syrup, either.

Oh, and there was some sort of potato thing that was VERY good.

When we came in, we were given a Hawaiian welcome and then sent over to have a picture taken with Daisy. I asked if it was part of Photopass, was told "yes", but then it wasn't. They printed out pictures and brought them by while we were eating to see if we wanted them. We didn't.

Oh, and you can simply order off the menu, rather than doing the buffet. We had vouchers for the buffet, so we just did that, but I think in the future, I would explore the menu. Of course, then coffee isn't included. :upsidedow

We've only done buffet - but it's great, huge variety, and the characters are wonderful. Actually, the place seems to always be less crowded than the other meals so we usually get lots of character time!!! It's also the only place to see Daisy - a bonus!!! They have get down and dance time as well for the kids - really neat!!!

I hope it is fun.
I can't wait for the potatoes if they are that yummy!!

Does anyone know a price??

We didn't particularly have a great time. Our server wasn't great and since the server brings the drinks that really made it hard. We waited 20 minutes for milk once. Plus it was toward the end of the service so the food was getting old and they just quit making some stuff. We won't be going back. Just my experience though. I know others have had quite the opposite one.

I am booking at 7:30 am when they open Christmas morning. I was going on Christmas Eve but we'll just be getting there.
I want an early breakfast so we can hit the parks early!!
Now I just have to figure out some really cool Lilo and Stitch breakfast invitations, super cool shirts, and items for their Christmas stockings.
They are getting getting Disneyland and $100 in spending cash.
DS11 is getting a Digital camera
DS7 will also be getting a camera, if I can find one that isnt too expensive.
When they get home they will have an Xbox 360 & games to open.

We did this breakfast last year (September 2006.) We had an 8:00 a.m. seating (I think the first of the day) so that we could hit the park at opening with plenty of time.

We had a great time! The characters (Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Lilo & Stitch) were dressed in Hawaiian wear and flowers, and seemed to give every table lots of attention. The kids loved it!

There was a table near us with a couple perhaps in their late 20s, no kids. The woman was dressed in an outfit similar to Minnie's polka-dot dress, complete with Mickey ears. I think there also was a table of young adult Japanese girls, and I noticed the characters gave just as much attention to these tables as to the ones with children. :goodvibes

The food was also very good, we thought. They offered standard breakfast fare (scrambled eggs, omelets to order, bacon, sausage, toast) as well as some special Hawaiian/Asian fare (I don't remember real well, but rice, I think salmon, pineapple scones, pineapple preserves, fresh tropical fruit.)

We LOVED this one!
We brought home a menu if anyone needs to know prices... ;)

Kids menu 11 and younger:
Beach party breakfast, all you can eat (buffet) $11.99
626'S FRENCH TOAST $7.29
Mickey pancakes $7.29
Beverages in keepsake cup (plastic) $2.59

(We went two years ago, so I dont know how accurate these are anymore.)

I rememeber my kids split something, maybe the waffle and fruit and they did not charge any fee. It was plenty of food, too.

It was mostly about the fun. It was the best character breakfast that we did, and we did three of them. Great memories, great photo's...

We're doing it again next week, and I hope to bring home an updated menu for my pantry door! (That's where we hung the last one!)
CUTE!

Hi,

We went to this breakfast it was not good it was EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!! Great interaction with everybody!!!

ENJOY!!!!

So my DS11 can order off the kids menu?
I thought that over 10 was an adult?

All the prices just went up (pretty much while we were there in Sept), so it's possible the kid's menu ages changed, too.

I was just going through disneyland.com to get to their dining pricing area. Now this is a generic price, but it showed:

Resort Character Breakfast
one breakfast per person.
Adult/Junior
$27.25
Child
$14.80

I think that, since it looks like you'll be paying at the time of the breakfast, rather than getting a b'fast included in a package, or getting the (dubious value) dining plan...why not call them and ask about current prices? Dining Reservations, please call (714) 781-DINE (3463)

Thanks I will do that. Now to find shirts for b'fast and Christmas or Christmas Eve dinner.

Thanks again

We ordered off the menu!!!!! No the buffet!!!

Get creative when you order you b-fast...

Sorry for being dumb, but at which hotel does this character breakfast take place? Would love to see Daisy and the gang when we visit in August 2008...
