Thank you so much for giving us a heads up. I'm glad that it has a happy ending, but it also makes me wonder what kind of message we are sending kids when we teach them that death isn't permanent.

I think most kids (even very young ones) realize there is a huge difference between real life and cartoons or tv. I remember knowing that as a child and I know that my kids can differentiate. Just think, most of us grew up watching Looney Tunes and I doubt it had any major impact on us!!!-except for a lot of great laughs!

Stitch does die for a few moments, but is revived - and this made my DGf and me BOTH cry. It was so incredibly sad..... I NEVER cry at movies (except Finding Neverland). This movie did justice to the 1st one (except the length...it was too short)

My kids (ok me too) also loved the "She's goin' down!!" and The whole I'm not touching you part. It is a very good movie.

If you'll notice the title is "Lilo and Stitch 2" ! That means that this movie takes place between the first movie, and "Stitch! The Movie" that came out on DVD a while back. That movie is the beginning of Lilo and Stitch's mission to capture all the experiments and to help them find where they belong, which continues in the TV series. When DD8 started to get upset over Stitch dying, I reminded her of that, and she felt better knowing that Stitch would be OK. That, and the fact that I always tell her that Disney movies always have happy endings (OK, maybe not Old Yeller, but at least the all the animated ones do!)!

I loved the "I'm not touching you!" part, too!!! Cracks me up every time!

Even though I knew this movie was between the Original & Stitch the movie I still cried. Stitch gets me every time, I still cry when I watch the original & he crawls out the window and leaves Lilo, especially when he watches all the little ducks walk past.
