hi. I was reading about the Grand Circle Tour. Does it still exist? Is it still possible to ride the Lilly Belle for free by running to the railroad in the morning and getting a return ticket? I’ve tried searching it on the boards and do not see anything mentioned recently. TIA!

No. Currently the only way is the Grand Circle Tour.

The tour involves a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes! The more interaction you can have with your guide and the guest conductor at the end, the more fun the tour is. Get ready to get involved! And the donut and coffee isn't all that filling, so if you need sustenance (we did!), bring protein bars in your bag and bring something to accompany your donut. We brought breakfast sandwiches (and a Starbucks for me -- DLR coffee isn't my favorite) and had a lovely little picnic in the tour garden.

What time is the tour?

I want to do the Walk in Walt’s steps tour. Will this tour give different information or is there a lot of over lap? We will be there 3 1/2 Days with one day being Memorial Day.

Called and booked our tour this morning for 2/22. Dina444444 you were correct; offered Friday- Sunday right now. The CM i spoke with said there was availability on 2/17, 2/22, 2/23 and 2/24 so it sounds like reservations might be easier to come by right now. thanksf for your help everyone.

Forgot to add: you can bring your own earbuds if you'd like. I find my own to be more comfortable and to work better than the ones provided on the tour. The ones provided tend to fall out a lot -- "one size fits most" just don't for me. Your son may find his own earbuds to fit better, too. Enjoy your tour!
