?? Lillian Vernon/Connections deal

We joined Connections thru LV about 5 months ago, there was a $20.00 dinner rebate...did anyone ever get that? Ours came back with Offer Expired and a date of 12-13-03......the form says valid until 12-31-03. Upon calling and speaking with some guy (with very heavy accent) he said there was nothing he could do and HUNG UP on us! First they drag it out for 6 weeks (knowing you can't cancel or you won't get the refund) and now this.

Did you call Lillian Vernon or Connections? I would call Lillian Vernon and ask to speak to a superviosor. If you get someone with an Indian accent, hang up and call back at a different time. Lillian Vernon has outsourced some calls to India. Lillian Vernon has someone that handles complaints against Connections. I think they will try to help you. You should also call Connections and ask to speak to a supervisor there. "Supervisor" seems to be the magic word.
