Does anyone have any information about this? It was mentioned in another tread but no information was available.

I have seen several people signing up with Connections through Lillian Vernon. No info on their website, you need to call the 800 # to ask about it. It's $8.50 per month.

I signed up three wks ago and still nothing. She said one week and I would get a welcome pkg from Connections, she couldn't answer any ?'s I had. Anyone else sign up here and how long did it take?

ceecee,

I signed up through Lillian Vernon and the person gave me an 800 number to call after two days. I was then able to get my membership number and log on-line. I signed up on a Wednesday, received my membership number Friday, placed an order on Monday which I received on Thursday.

I would suggest calling LV back for the 800 number.

Good luck,
Carole

It took about a month to recieve the welcome package.....so there goes your "first month free" when you sign up. I called connections and got my free trial offer extended for this reason.

What's the difference between signing up through Lillian Vernon vs. signing up directly through Connections?

If you sign up thru Lillian Vernon, you can do the membership on a month-to-month basis at $8.50 per month. If you join thru Connections, it is for a year. After you join thru Lillian Vernon (2-3day wait), you can call the Connections 800 number and get your membership number. Then you can go to their web site and place your order or place it over the phone.

I didn't know this! Thanks. Now I'm considering joining again for a month or two, through Lillian Vernon, just to get some meal vouchers. Do the counterservice ones really save money?

Hi again crazymom! Looks like we are hitting the same threads. Im not a member of Connections but I do belong to Simple Escapes--just like Connections. There are many benefits other than just hte Disney vouchers. They have retail vouchers like Toys R Us--you pay $25 for the card and get a $5 rebate back. Last Christmas I bought $200 worth to get an x-boy for the boys and after my rebate ($40) I ended up paying $160 total.
For our last Disney trip we bought $60 worth of Planet Hollywood restuarant cards $10 (you get a $2 rebate back) so we ended up paying $48 for $60 worth of the cards and I used my DC discount for an additional 10% savings!
We also bought $60 worth of HRC cards to use at Universal and we had a $5 coupon off for that place too. There are quite a few savings to be had if you use the services.
As for the Q&C vouchers you could save if you kids share a meal. And if you go to Pepper Market at CSR for dinner they have a Ribeye that is $15 and then you still get a drink and a dessert--and a side if it doesnt come with the ribeye. So you end up paying $11.25 for a dinner that would probably come out about $20.
