I saw this on one of the time share rental boards. Has anyone stayed here? The pool looks awesome.

I've never stayed there, but the people that I know who have stayed there were disappointed.

There have been a few threads about this place recently, do search and should be able to find alot of info.

BIL and SIL stayed there in October. They said it was fine for them. Only a few minutes from where we live in Clermont and not far from the parks. They did have to sit through a time share presentation though. They were told it was an hour but after an hour and a half got up to leave. They were told if they left, they would not get the vouchers (I don't know what the vouchers were for) but SIL is pregnant and complained and complained until she got them. They said they would stay there again if they didn't have to sit through the presentation.

The pool was great! Perfect for 6-12yo. The rooms and the staff are a different story. There are several OLD townhomes that they put the "tour deal people" in. These are aweful. We asked to change to a newer room for an entire day and finally were moved. The new "highrises" are bigger, but are showing some wear. There is no restaurant onsite, but 100's just 5 minutes away. I would not stay there again, based on the contition of both rooms and the rude staff members we encountered. The tour was 90 minutes for us, then we told him we would never buy there and left. If you are looking for a great kid's pool this is the place. Make sure you get into a highrise, units #400 and up.

I have to say that we stayed there and had good luck. We stayed in the new section, it had two bedrooms, but slept 6, big jacuzzi tub, nice kitchen, w/d, nice living room. I was pleased. The pool is great, my kids loved it there. Its a nice step up from other pools. Disappointed that there was no restaurant on premises, but like someone else said, there are lots of others. Not far from disney at all. My kids asked if we could go back there for next November's trip.

My family and I love this place. We stay every year. If you need details PM me. :)

We really liked Liki Tiki. We stayed last year in a high rise and are going back in three weeks. We liked it so much last year we bought a timeshare there on Ebay. I would never buy one direct from them... too much money, but on resale I think it is a good option. The place is nice. Our kids really like it!

Most of these comments on this thread seem really good compardd to other threads I have read.
I am stopping here in April, so any advise you can pass on would be greatly appreciated.
I have been to WDW before but didn't drive. This time I am driving, so any hints/tips on best time sto travel/ directions, honest anything you would have done differently if you knew.

Thanks

Stayed there two years ago and it was disgusting. Maybe they smartened up but I am guessing that they did not since they had so much to fix. Check the search to find other opinions. Take the chance if you wish but if you have more of a sure thing they go with that.

Hi Everyone!

Stayed there a couple of years ago and was VERY disappointed. Our villa was in the older section. We had a bug problem. NASTY! I NEVER seen bugs that big two to three inches long. You actually heard them clcking their feet while they walked on the kitchen counter top. The staff was rude about the problem but came and sprayed and said it's normal in Florida (which is a lie!) I stopped cooking, so that just increased our restaurant bill and defeated the purpose for staying at a resort. We only seen the bugs on the first floor. In the kitchen and bathroom. Nothing in the bedrooms but I do have to say,"They have a very nice waterparkl!" They called us back with a promo over the summer but we wouldn't go back for free (unless they clean up their villas) We Never had a bug problem at Marriott or Sheraton. We stayed at Sheraton Vistana Villages. Awesome!!! Beautiful! Ifelt like a princess!! :-)

Hope that helps

Carol

PS: Just make sure your not in the older villas..
