Liki Tiki Village???

Hi all! I've been browsing the web and came across Liki Tiki Village. Has anyone stayed there? I would love some feedback.

This is our first trip to WDW and I want it to be really special but we're on a budget.

We stayed there years ago. We stayed in a one bedroom condo. It had a full kitchen and a pull out sofa. The sofa bed was terrible. But my son never complained about it. The unit we stayed in needed renovating but was not in terrible shape. I think the whole place was going to be renovated. But this was 4?5? years ago. We were never in the room. It was not close to Disney. But the drive was not terrible. Can not remember how long it took to get to Disney. (Sorry) This is a time share place just so you know. We traded in so we did not have to go to the presentation. But they still called. ( We ignored the phone.) The pool was GREAT! Could not get Ds out of it. Would I stay there again? Yes I would. There are just so many places to try in Orlando that we have not needed to go back.

A girlfriend and her family stayed there last Sept. and LOVED it. They were in either a new or newly updated building. I know they stayed through her SIL timeshare. She said it was a great place to stay. They had 5 people and a 2 bedroom.

My kids love this place (so does my dh). Ask for a one floor unit, they are the newer units (but there is always one seciton being refurbed). The pool is awesome, and with the kitchen there, it helps for breakfast and snacks or if you want to make dinner

Its a great place!
