Praying now.....glad that you're going, this is a needed trip, I think.

Lol, yeah Grandpa had NO doubts that the bird did it on purpose. "I cann't belive that bird had the nerve to do that to me!" :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Oh, Maroo. I will pray for Rachel, her family, and you. I really hope you get to take this trip and enjoy yourselves.

Liesa, I have had so much fun over by the Lego creations. There are some rather amusing pictures of myself and Tinkerbellarella there from our May trip. :lmao:

Good Morning Everyone!!

Only some of you would know how VERY, VERY, ultra glad I am to be "here" this morning!!

I stewed and fretted all night long literally, and lost massive amounts of sleep over a lot of "stuff".

One of those items was my water- YES, AGAIN.... this time the whole city is off, not just our neighborhood. We have a 1,000 liter cistern dug in the yard, that we can pump water into the house from. But the one day in 3 months we need it, the line was frozen. That means no water AT ALL unless we carry it in buckets to the house. It took me 3 hours to do all the dishes from 2 days and 5 loads of heating water on the stove. Everytime something like this happens, I am reminded once again of why we're here- bringing running water (and in most cases giving water - period) to the most undeveloped of the villages around us. Now, go get a big drink of water, and thank God for it!!!

Now, I've written up my next chapter of, what Biscuit calls, the Retro-Report, but need to get it typed. I promise I'll get it up after I get caught up on everyone's reports. Jordan, that may take me hours...

Thanks to those who sent me PMs. I've already responded...

Loving you all- more than you'll ever know!!!

Liesa

I'm saying a thank you prayer for my plumbing!

Yet another of those things we take for granted living here.

I'm happy you're "here" too!:goodvibes

Always glad you're here, Liesa. Growing up we lived in BFE, and had water lines freeze up, so I know what a pain it is. I can't imagine living that way all the time like some of the folks you're there to help do..your family is doing such good things, we need more people like you guys!

Woohoo for another update..looking forward to it when you have time to do it!

Oh my gosh, sorry to hear about your problems. Here's a hug because that's all I can do for you over the computer!

Liesa-
Sorry to hear about the H2O situation. Glad I have a working well! It must be cold with these water lines freezing. :genie: (no freezing smilie LOL)

Glad to have gotten your PM this morning! It made me smile! Just the fact that I could log in was a treat! Going to make coffee now- with my cistern water! Mmmmm! Added flavor.

BFE?? Sorry, lost me on that one. I AM blonde.

They are telling us now that the whole city is off because the main pump froze?/ seized? up?? Won't be on until at least 8 tonight. NO showers, NO laundry, NO floors. It coudl be worse, we could have no drinks.

Will be typing it up very soon. Still going through all of "YOUR" reports. :)
