Yeah- it is pretty crazy! I like the concept of the TF just as it was originally. Disney is all about magic just happening- you try too hard to do or get something and it takes the magic out of it.

Thanks for the pics Betsy!! I love looking at WDW vacation photos! My favorite is the one of Kate with the hair wrap- great colors, beautiful profile shot of Kate and her look is great- so proud of the wrap but still very much a little girl with the Princess Ball cap. My DD had to have her hair wrapped too- she kept it in for almost two months!

Have a relaxing weekend back home. Sorry you are unpacking but you can just start planning next year!

I feel almost like Dorothy and her froends entering the presence of Oz. I have read most of this thread and I am in awe, <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_17_1.gif' border=0></a> impressed by all of your comprehensive knowledge about WL and the friendly atmosphere here. I have never stayed at WL before, but I am seriously thinking about an upgrade to WL on my upcoming trip. A few questions...

Which standard-view rooms have bunk beds?

Which standard-view room has the best view (ie. not of trucks)?

Should I just go for the woods-view instead?

How long does it take to get from WL to MK by boat?

How do you get from WL to Contemporary?

Welcome aboard!! Glad to have ya!

Not sure about the bunk beds.

As for view, you can't go wrong with Woodsview OR Courtyard. I prefer courtyard with a main pool view but I can also do Courtyard with a Villas pool view. Both are nice.

Taking the boat from WL to MK takes no more than 5 minutes really but it all depends on how the boats are running at the time. Somtimes it does WL the Fort Wilderness then MK and sometimes it goes direct.

Lastly, there are two types of boats. The green flag or large boats are the ones that go to MK. The blue flag boats go back and forth between the CR and WL and again, sometimes Fort Wilderness. They run QUITE often so you really won't wait very long. Best part is you can take the smaller boat with the blue flag to the CR then jump the monorail to go wherever. We do this to go to Epcot on occasion. Just take the monorail to the transportation ticket center and make a train change to the Epcot line.

Could you tell me alittle about what kind of food it is? Is it good? Do they have a kids menu besides what they list on the menus online? My 2 year old won't eat stuff like that!
