One question while I'm here...will I hate myself if I don't get a meal at WC while at WL? We actually had dinner there last trip...our first look at the Lodge. Loved it...and knew we HAD to stay there next visit. At any rate, we are booking our PS and I just don't think we will be back in time for dinner at a decent time any night. We never leave the parks at lunch...or haven't thus far. We are doing the 'short week' (5 days/4 nights) this trip...so I feel pressed to fit all the magic in

Advice? I could plan for a late dinner after Fantasmic maybe...

Just checked out of the WL this morning. I'm home and already on the computer!!
The lodge looked lovely, crowds were minimal except at MK, which was VERY busy.
35 minute wait for M:S, TT, TOT.
Weather was betweeen 45º and 55º in the am and did not rain at all.
The buses were running a tad slow, valet and bell services were at about an 8 minute wait. It looked like they raised prices on merch. even since November. ??
Got to see the sleigh go by but it was booked solid all week and never got to ride.
Saw the memory box. It is stuffed full and I also noticed someone scraped the mold I had an allergic reaction to, off of the log. How sweet, even if you didn't do it for me, it helped!
WC looked full during dinner and breakfast but we never partook. Roaring Fork was fine as usual. Clean, quick, hot and filling.
You can see fireworks from woods view villas. Our 4th floor room had a partical view and I was happy.
Pool and slide are working fine. Hot tub tested at an A+, both the lodges and the villas.

Great idea Magic Actually one morning...we want to hang around and ride 'mouseboats' before we hit the parks (decided that would be a better use of time than leaving during the day and coming back. Anyone agree or disagree? ) That might be a great chance to hit WC for breakfast.

More questions:
Should I get a PS for breakfast? How crowded are they in the morning?

How long should I allow for a trip to the Memory Box...we HAVE to do that while we are there. The 'late morning' would be perfect for that as well....

First, it can get REALLY busy at WC for Breakfast. I recommend PS if you want to make sure you don't wait while you are starving. However, I have also been there without PS and didn't have to wait at all. Depends....

As for the Box, I would say you need about 30 minutes. Maybe 45 tops. Enjoy!

Maidmarion & Shopgirl - I'm not packed yet. I kind of started throwing things I don't want to forget on the dining room table (Autograph and penny press books, WL mugs, Lanyards, Santa hat with mickey ears, passporter)

I'm hoping to get to the packing tonight. I won't be at MVMCP on the 16th. We're going on the 14th.

I'm not sure if I'm excited or overwhelmed yet. I've got soooo much to do before I leave on Friday that right now I'm in panic mode

I will be listening real hard. Thanks for the well wishes, enjoy your stay and report in. I was layed up, but got to watch the FL FSU game, what a blast that was. The Nurse was going to turn it off if I did not calm down, so I fake it. LOL

I was in your beautifull state this past week as they took me up to my DD who is a stay at home Mom and has a good Medical background to get me on my feet. Have to be honest, it was to damn cold for me. LOL
