Like POP Better ... Why?

I have read where alot of posters prefer Pop over some of the moderate resorts. Other than the obvious price difference what else is there about Pop which makes it one of your favorite resorts. I'm booked at the Pop this month but I have not stayed on WDW properties in over 25 years.

We really enjoyed the upbeat and colorful atmosphere. I know some don't like it just because of that, but to us, it was very fun...the colors, music, styling. Our kids (6, 8 and 17) like it better than both pofq and por.

I find it difficult to be anything but happy when at Pop!

I'll let you know next week. We have our first stay at Pop this Friday. I love POR and own at BWV, and actually enjoyed a stay at AllStarMusic....obviously I have eclectic tastes!!

I think people like it b/c its one of the newest resorts and it has a really nice food court. People also like that it has one central busstop and does not share busses with any other resort.

My thoughts exactly as previous poster. And, I didn't see any difference between the rooms at POP and POFQ. In fact, at POFQ we found out that our door wouldn't close properly. We always pulled it shut and tugged to make sure it was closed, but apparently when the maid cleaned the room, she didn't pull it shut and our room was left propped open all day! We complained at the front desk and they sent someone to fix the door but it was uncomfortable knowing anyone could have walked in all day.
