Like a Bad Meal (V Keeps Coming Back) - THE END! 1/12/09

(read: threw all the dirty clothes into suitcases and sat on them ‘till they zipped shut)

:rotfl: Just what I did yesterday leaving Chicago...

Where it was really, really, really hot. Not even all that humid; I think Fay pulled a lot of moisture with her. But searing hot.

::yes:: Even though it was worth it to meet Janet again, we made the mistake of going to MK on an EMH day that day. It was HOT.

As I’m certain any reader here could have predicted, I found the lovely T’s in MouseGears and came home with not one, but TWO of the overpriced garments.

No regrets – I love them and wear them often!

Dang it. We were at the AKL and I loved them there and walked away without them, too. Dang.

First, walking down our row, I saw a car running. With no one around. Clearly, someone had forgotten to turn off the ignition in the excitement of arriving at EP and there it sat… all day… idling away its tank of $3.85/gallon gas. Oy.

:scared:

I was, and am still, so glad I’d taken a chance on meeting some lovely, lovely people I’d gotten to know here on the DIS, and I felt, and still fee, so fortunate to have them in my life. Thank you for being my friends!

Aw, V. It was so special to meet you all, but since I'd quoted you extensively on our 2007 trip, it was particularly nice to show D you were real. :rotfl:   Thanks for being MY friend. :goodvibes

We were in MK that morning....yup, it was HOT!

I still love that blue shirt. And still regret that I didn't pick one up. They are so super soft. :cloud9:

It was an incredible time and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of it. Thanks to you, T, LL and Jo for suggesting another Focker meet, and for letting a whole bunch more of us tag along.

She put it much better than I did, and I totally agree with her. EVERYTHING. :goodvibes

There's never a "boring" day at Disney. It's a "laid-back" kinda day!:rotfl: I was a bit shocked at the "burn out"! I figured it wouldn't last until May!;)

sounds like a nice relaxing day! just love the pic of leo in the car, too sweet!

Leo enjoyed his breakfast repast in bed. Have I mentioned just how much Leo loves the sofa-beds?! You’ve never seen a kid so excited about a bed.
The novelty of them is amazing! Our DS is amazed by them as well.

While Leo ate and watched cartoons, I packed our things up (read: threw all the dirty clothes into suitcases and sat on them ‘till they zipped shut) and took a shower. Which, in retrospect, was pretty stupid, since I was drenched in sweat the moment I exited the room for the first trip to the car.

Good golly, it was HOT that morning! :faint: With Fay finally gone, it was once again summer in Central Florida and the sun was beating down. Ugh.

I'm trying to picture what it feels like to be hot... with -22 on the thermometer, it seems like such a foreign concept right now...

It was a long-ish wait, but neither of us was bothered by that. In fact, Leo and I enjoyed some quality time waiting for the boat, talking about how much fun it was to see our DIS friends and remembering all the funny times we’d had the previous few days. It was really, really special, just hanging with my boy in the shade.
Aren't those unplanned, special moments just the best?!

I fell head over heels for these too - I ended up justifying the cost for the peace sign one after we went on our DVC tour and received a gift card. I think that qualifies for some FDM, am I correct? Of course I was search all over DTD to find one when I finally decided it's what I really wanted!

With that little discovery made, Leo got comfy and I settled in for the drive home. It’s funny – Leo never naps at home and only rarely and under extreme duress at WDW. But he conks out every time on the drive back!

That's the sign of a good trip!

What I’m trying to say is that, by the end of 2008, we’d had enough Disney for a while.

GASP! :faint:

Please – take a moment to compose yourselves.

Okay, I'm back in my seat after falling to the floor...

I decided not to return until at least May 2009.
This made me laugh... I was expecting until like 2015 or something... 4 months, that sounds reasonable for a local!

Thanks for another great TR! It was a blast to read!!

Yes, nothing to be bored if your in Disney. A lot of things to do unless you will just stay in your room doing nothing. :rotfl:

Have a nice day everyone. :)
