The group before me had to run to put out the candles. She changed it to a ride. We were in there for a while. She thought about changing rooms, (to the one where she tested it), but did not want everyone in line to have to restart like the other night.

Prize is club 33 pin.

I think the Hosts need people to test the games beforehand to make sure they work. I would volunteer to work with the hosts to test the games and help fix the problems BEFORE the games opened to the public. I could see VMK either using the Leaders they already have, or creating a group of game testers that would volunteer to test the games and work to fix problems so the events go smoothly, maybe even posting screen shots and the rules to the boards when the events open, or just before. I could see working to test a game, getting the regular host pin for testing it, and agreeing not to play the game I helped test that day because I already had my prize from it. For teleporters all the teleporters could be checked to make sure prizes are given, and bugs could be worked out of other games. I know not all VMK players read this board, or any discussion board, but if the game testers worked to make sure that information was posted to as many discussion boards as possible, then a lot of people would know how to play the game the very first time the event opened. Even if I spent an hour working with a host, only earned the host pin, and was not allowed to play that game the next time it opened, I still would have saved myself the effort of trying to get in line early, and then waiting through the line with only a chance of winning. I would also know that the game should be working well when my friends got a chance to play.

Too bad VMK probably wouldn't do something like this. It would be seen as having favorites, even though I think it could fall under the description of a Community Leader's duties.

I'm in the same boat. No pin for me again today I was even playing on my laptop, which almost never crashes (compared to my desktop).

I sure hope I can get my hands on one soon!

Woohoo there I am in the purple row middle seat. My team won. There is a strategy here. Oh and we had to change our clothes to match our team color. Prize is Club 33 pin.

It did get confusing and people went out of turn. Hula did say that it would be different next time.

The game is very time consuming so if you are too far back you probably won't make it in tonight - sorry.

The way she had it set up when I went through was:

Object: To have the most of your team's colored candles lit at the end of the game.

One player goes through the ride at a time. You choose one track or the other and click on as many candelsticks as you can depending on whether or not you want it lit or unlit. Click to light your candles and click to turn off your opponents candles. After all 12 people have gone through, the team with the most candles lit wins.

Seeing as how Hula keeps changing the game, it could be completely different by the time you get there.
