Wow I am sad to hear this will no longer be part of Epcot.
I am not even going to tell my family. We are DVC members and they only go because it makes me happy. For the past three NYE visits, I have been hearing lets go to Atlantis next year, let's go on a cruise, etc. But I want to be at Disney on NYE like we have for the past ten years.
Maybe it really is time to find a new after Christmas vacation spot??

I know what Disney is going to do for 2010!!!!!
They will introduce a BRAND NEW TOUR !!!
It will be named ...... "Where Did Christmas Go?
It will be a tour to all the places where they used to have Christmas decorations or celebrations!!!
Highlights include looking at the walkway where LOW was once performed....maybe including some old photos.....don't forget the MVMCP photo locations, How about the stop at the platform and stage for the tree lighting ceremony in EPCOT! The list will grow each year.
Perhaps in time it will grow to a full day tour - with necessary upgrades in the COST of the tour. Maybe as Disney VISA members - we can even get a ....... discount.
Don't forget about the Country Bear Christmas Show which was cancelled several years ago. Other highlights could include the free photos you received at MVMCP and the 25% shopping discount you received at Epcot on the day you had ressies for the Candlelight Processional.

After a number of years the formation of the tour is complete. It will be a tour of the warehouse where the decorations not in use are stored.
Bob "Scrooge" Iger

Eisner was an even bigger "scrooge". Iger's a far better ceo than eisner will ever be.
