Lights, Motor, Barf all over...

This was my DD5 (at the time) favorite thing!!! I don't even know why, but I think she may be an adrenaline junkie or may be interested in Nascar. :confused3 We had to see it twice in one day last year! :3dglasses

I enjoyed the show but this time if it was'nt for DD and children going with us I wouldnt see it again. But they have never been to WDW and grandma can't say no.

Hated it, watched it on a very hot humid day in August with the sweatiest, smelliest person sitting in front of me  Lots of noise and fumes, really boring, no story to it, just lots of cars racing up and down. I came away with a headache thinking I'd just wasted 30 mins of my life :goodvibes It was the worst attraction of all my 3 weeks in Disney and Universal. My son (13) loved it and wanted to go again :confused3

I will say this about the waiting area....it is hot, stinky, and a lot of rude people who will actually take down the chains to cut through the lines.

My DH got really angry with that, walked over, and hooked the chain back up and told the others to go around like the rest of us.

Saw it once, found it moderately enjoyable - have never felt compelled to go back.

What amazes me is that since I think these boards are moderately representative of Diz fans - a majority seem to find LMA at best ok to blah.

The question then comes to my mind - how did so much money get spent on so much precious real estate at the studio on something so unremarkable?

I remember reading around the time it was being built that LMA was wildly popular at DLP. Cultural differences, or was this just an easy clone to do?

Just sort of thinking out loud.

:bored: What a boring show! My DH and I left early because it just didn't hold our attention. What was great about that was we got to beat the rush to the exits once the show was over! :cool1:

I certainly enjoyed it enough to see once. I would guess my DH (loves cars) really liked it alot ... but to spend the time it took to get into the stands (and wait for everyone else to get into the stands) and the time getting out ... it is nothing I really care to see again.

I actually liked seeing how the stunts were actually done -- it didn't spoil it for me at all (but I always like to know the ending of movies and THAT doesn't spoil any of the movie for me either - I'm weird that way). Just my opinion. I wonder how long this show will be around?
