Lights! Motor! Asian?--Feb 2010 Part II. 11/6-Pix, part 2. Page 199.

Once we had our fill of Morocco or maybe they had their fill of us... We headed back to Japan. I think DJay wanted to get Cherie a pick a pearl and get it set in a necklace. What a cool husband. So we walked back over. Who else loves Mitsukoshi Department store? I'm not just sayin that because...well... I AM of Japanese descent, it really is a fun place to look around. Plus, there are usually Peeps everywhere!!! Case in point:

I love how you're trying to look like you're interested in buying that shirt on the rack! Yeah, right!

We actually had to follow them around the store for awhile to get the shot off. They were moving so fast. Imagine us "take the picture now. darn. they moved." "okay take it now...darn. follow them over there. okay let me do the power...darn they moved again." They had no idea...thankfully.

Wow, you really picked some elusive peeps!

Djay...he might've been clenching and leaning...

That appears to be a pretty safe bet.

I ordered a grape leaf app and strip steak...i hoovered both down like they were dog hair on my carpet.

We have a restaurant near us that has a "Mountain Man Strip" on the menu. I always threaten Judy that I'm going to order by saying, "I'd like to have the Mountain Man strip!" But I've never had the guts to actually do it.

So I wonder what I sat in...then I remember sitting at the American Adventure waiting to go in and seeing this:

Darn you duck!!!!!!!

So glad you caught the offender. Look at that smile on his face -- he's definitely the one, all right.

I know trying to be all sly...:rotfl2::rotfl2:

If you notice, they didn't stop moving either....I probably could've gone up to the 50 other peeps in the store and gotten a better picture....

Hopefully gas is all that came out....

I had to read this twice to get it...:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yeah, it's kind of a verbal joke....it's all in the inflection. Hard to put it in writing. I should have said that I really emphasize "strip!"

I forgot. I was going to give you this for your great work at Kouzzina.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I wouldn't want to say it either.....

I did a pretty good job the whole trip eating every single thing....It's a feeling of satisfaction knowing that I ate it all.....

I love getting that sticker at Prime Time:thumbsup2

So funny that you love Hi-Chew. I LOVE them too, but for some reason didn't get any candy right then. I had more of a salt hankering then....

I may run down to the market right now to get some HI-CHEW...they were on sale.......

I would've licked the plate...I thought that might be crossing the line though...;)

Seriously?! You can just walk to your local market and buy HI-Chews?! Or are you pulling my leg?

Gotta love a guy that actually likes sweet stuff. My DBF likes it but won't go out of his way to buy himself a pack of yummy sweet chewy HI-Chews. And another thing while we're on the subject - Before Bubba ended her contract, she bought a whole box of them because she likes them so much :rotfl:

Yes, Ralphs (kroger) had them on sale. California has a dense population of Asians so most big chains carry a wide variety of Asian foods.

I like sweets...many women tend to lump sweets in with chocolate. While I like chocolate, I tend to favor cherry sours, gummy bears and jelly bellys.

Hey, be careful lumping all women under one sweet category. Moi happens to well know the difference between chocolate and other colorful sweets.:rolleyes1

Chapter 38. Cross Country Trip

As most of you know, I may be traveling back East in the next few months to go into a recovery program. The program is located in Northern Kentucky and I will be there 6 months. I would need to be accepted into the program, but it sounds pretty promising.

At first, it didn't sound like i would be able to drive back, but now it looks like I will be driving back East. I would like to take my time doing so. So I will probably leave myself a week to get back there. All this means that I can visit people along the way. I kind of have it my head a few places I want to stop, but it's not set in stone in any way, shape or form yet.

here is a link to the map:

In other news, I think I've told you that my cousin works for Pixar. He did some work on TS3 and is working on Cars2 as we speak. I asked him if I can take a tour of the Pixar campus and he said sure. So I think I am going up in a few weeks!!!! Pictures will be taken.....

Love the stealthy peep pictures - the look on your face tells the whole story :rotfl:

Do you know what route you'll be taking back to CA? If you get closer to Cleveland I can meet up with you. :cool2:

You've inspired me to come out of lurking. Oooh - a road trip! DH and I did a month-long cross-country trip a few years ago. I definitely recommend the book Road Trip USA and their accompanying website http://www.roadtripusa.com/. It's got tons of information about random off-beat roadside attractions. And http://roadfood.com/ is great for restaurant recommendations. Enjoy the trip!

Glennbo, that's a girl duck. Wonder if Jordan made an offensive sexist comment right before he sat there. Or a duckist comment? Do you hate ducks Jordan?

Since I won't have a job to come back to I can take my time coming back. I want to do the Northeast and then travel south to Florida.....:rolleyes1

It really depends on the weather during the latter part of February.

Cleveland is on the list...isn't that where the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame is?

I know.....

Pixar is located across the Bay from San Francisco in Emeryville....I can't wait either.
