My Daddy always said that things happen for a reason - and I believe your leave is happening for a reason - I am here for you - WHEN you want me to - IF you want me to -
And - especially for you -

Thanks for putting a smile on my face.

Jordan, I am so sorry for everything you have been through but I am greatful that you are seeking help for it. Noone deserves to be treated wrong especially a child. You will be in my prayers. I know that for me, sometimes it is easier to speak with a stranger and I will listen if you need me to. feel free to find me on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/#!/rswerock If you ever need to vent or rant, I will never take it personally. I hope that you can begin to heal properly. I might not know you in real life and as a real person but from what I know of you I already feel like you are family. Please take care of yourself.

Thanks

We are family for sure!

You are in my heart and prayers my friend and I'm incredibly proud that you are choosing to face this and deal with it, it is truly a gift you are giving yourself. I am blessed that you chose to share this with us. Counseling gave me the life I have now.

Love you

Jordon, I am a long time reader of your amazing trip reports but have never posted before. I know from personal experience that you can't rid yourself of the demons of the past until you are able to fully face them. It takes a lot of courage to do so and it isn't easy but never forget you have a huge support group here and many people who love you.

Thanks for the great advice.... Thanks for coming out of lurkerville to give words of encouragement.

You are right, we WILL be here, and you need to be ok with having that freedom to only be "here" as much as you can. Sometimes sharing with others can be helpful, but more often, having time of just quiet and reflection is more healing.

We love you, Jordan, and are here WHEN you need us.

You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
When the road looks rough ahead
And you're miles and miles
From your nice warm bed
Just remember what your old pal said
Boy, you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got troubles, well I've got 'em too
There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you
We stick together and we see it through
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me

As DUG says, I haven't met you, but I love you, Jordan.

Hi Jordan, Wow! What a huge burden you have been carrying. I am glad that you are working towards healing and am so sorry this happened to you. You are brave for sharing and we all love you and only want the best for you. Hopefully we can help and provide some relief as you always give us laughter and ease our dreary days with your tales.
I hope this time off gives you the break you need. Will you be able to have any income while you are off? (I could send you some ribs if things get tough) I am sure that everyone will miss you at Church, but maybe something else will fall into place for you.

Hey Brother. When I read your last post, my heart absolutely broke for you. I have no words to say that can really help, and I don't pretend to know the pain that you are going through. Just know that there is a guy in Texas praying for you and asking God to pour out His healing touch on you. If you have itunes, I'd like to suggest a track. "Yet I Will Praise" by Melissa Boraski. It may be on You Tube as well. (On my phone so I can't multi tab.) It has helped me in some dark and troubling times and just this week stood as a reminder of grace in the midst of a storm.

I understand about needing some time away. Take all that you need my friend. We have eternity. And I'm definitely inviting you over when we get to heaven. (My place will be the one with the Dallas Cowboys mancave I've always wanted.). Have a great night Jordan and have a great worship service tomorrow. I pray that if God does not calm the storm, that He calms His child.

In Christ,

(\/)att

Jordan, I am so sorry you have had to deal with this pain for so long. I am so angry. I have met so many adults who are still suffering the consequences of some adult who abused them.

What makes me happy is that you are getting some time to renew and heal, and that so many are praying for you and supporting you. I will be praying for you, too! I know when this time of healing is over, you will be able to move forward spiritually and do the work God has planned for you, and personally too.
