I am curious how late you can get in to see the lights at MGM? Does it cost anything or can anyone get in to see them?

Which Lights at MGM. You have Fantasmic, which is a Lazer Light, character show. You need a park ticket to get to see the show at MGM. The other lights may be the Christmas Osborn Lights, in which you also need a park ticket. You can rent a boat near the Boardwalk and they will take you near the Fantasmic show, but I don't know how much that is.

I am going to move you over to Theme Park Strategies. I am sure you will receive more replies to your question.

I'm going to assume that you mean the Osborne Family Lights at MGM. If so, then no, it doesn't cost anything extra to see them. I have gotten to the park about 10 minutes before the park closed, got in and headed right for the Lights. No problem at all. I was actually a bit ahead of those who were leaving Fantasmic! that night.

One year I was actually walking in AT closing time, 7 PM I think. The CM at the entrance mentioned the park was closed, I acknowledged and said I was going to see the Osborne's, she told me to enjoy the lights and my evening. :cool1:

so you do have to have a park ticket to go see the osboune lights? i was told if you went after closing you could get in for free they were not part of the park but i want to be sure as we are taking several people and i want to know if we need passes or not. If so would be kind of expensive to just go see the lights for $65 or so.

How late can you get in?

I've never heard of getting in without a ticket for the lights, I'm pretty sure you need a pass.

You need a ticket to get into the park.

As long as the park is open, you'll be able to get in. Assuming you're in the park, you should be able to tour a bit after the park technically closes as well.
