Lightroom Edit Question

My son recently got glasses. That has led to some pictures with a glare on the glasses. I have tried to edit the glare out using some tutorials I found online without much success. Most of the tutorials I found were for photoshop, which I don't have.

Does anyone have a tutorial for Lightroom that they used to get rid of the glare on glasses? Or do you have any tried and true methods to get rid of the glare?

The only thing i could think of that might work is to use the brush tool. Then maybe turn down the highlights. And possibly turn up the clarity to bring back some of the sharpness in that area. Decreasing contrast in that specific area might help some as well.
