I hated Lightroom when I forst got it. Now I LOVE it! Why? Well, I could get all the books in the world about it and still hate it. That isn't how I learn the best. I happened to be on iTunes one day and searched the podcasts and there are some extremely helpful and FREE podcasts about Lightroom and Photoshop, all of which have helped me immensely. I'm not sure if you need an ipod or not to get them. I don't think so as I just play them on my computer since my DD won't let me put them on her ipod. Check them out. I think the one I like the best is "Lightroom Killer Tips", but honestly I haven't looked at them in awhile so I'd have to go and check. You can also download all the past podcasts and just sit there with ITunes and Lightroom opened and try them as the guy shows you how it's done. Excellent way for me to learn the program and I'm sure I haven't learned the half of it yet!
