I checked yesterday and today and both times it is showing temporarily closed on the My Disney Experience app. Does this show experience a lot of down time?

When we were there in June it was up and down pretty much every day. My son is 5 and a big Cars fan; luckily it reopened just as the rest of our party was getting off RnRC. But we really lucked into it. Hard to plan around at all.

It went down one day last week right in the middle of the show. Of course that was because a 3-4 yr old kept running away from their parents in the front row. We watched it happen a couple of times, parents laughing thinking it cute I suppose. A CM warned them once, but finally the kid crossed the security line and the CM had to hit the emergency switch to shut it down and we all had to leave.

It takes some time to get it back up and running- over 2 hrs in our case. They often have trouble bringing it back up.

We’ve been to HS 3 times since this opened and it’s been seemingly down more than it has been up...Have yet to luck into seeing it.
