Lightning McQueen?

I have a near 3 year old who loves "Cars". Were do we go to find Lightning McQueen in the parks? We'll be the Feb 16 and 17 with park hopppers. I know he'll love everything about Disneyland, but to meet McQueen would be the best thing ever for him! Are there any other "Cars" there?

Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater are found in Condor Flats of DCA. They're parked right across from Soarin Over California.

I really dont know what happened to them. They arent there anymore. Its been like that for the past 2-3 weeks. Im not sure when they will be back but they just arent there anymore. Its sad to see the disappointed guest when they ask me where they are. :\

That's what I heard before I went in January. Didn't believe 'em, but they were just NOT there. Very disappointing, even though I didn't have my 3 year old with me.

It's true. Lightning and Mater are no longer taking up residence in Condor Flats. They're currently gearing up for their roles in the Pixar Play! Parade, coming in March.

i cant confirm nor deny but i dont see it in the parade housing.

Who's not to say they're not getting some body work done somewhere else? Not that I know anything or whatever.... Besides, I'm pretty sure not everything has even been shipped in yet. So far we've only seen:

Toy Story
Ratatouille
Incredibles

That still leaves Cars, A Bug's Life, and Monsters, Inc. pieces to be seen.

So far, Ratatouille has arrive and Bugs Life has arrived. I havent seen any Toy Story or Incredibles pieces.

You haven't peeked in the warehouse at the right times.

There are plenty of pictures of the Toy pieces at a particular "Geeky" Disney fansite. Hint hint. I already said that Ratatouille has arrived as noted in my previous list. There is more that has arrived that the fansites haven't been able to get photos of. Suffice it to say, Pixar Play is planned to have components of ALL the Pixar films, including Lightning and Mater.
