Lightning McQueen and Mater at DLR?

Is there a place to meet McQueen and Mater at DL or CA? I know you can at WDW Hollywood Studios but haven't seen them mentioned in regards to DLR. My DS is crazy over "Queen!"

If you can't meet them, are they in the Pixar Play Parade?

Sometimes, Mater and McQueen are out at their M&G across from Soarin' in CA. McQueen leads the parade in CA, and Mater brings up the rear.

There is a spot in the Soarin area that looks sort of like a garage. There was a photo pass person there too. I hope we get to see them in June. We didn't have time to stop when were only there for a day.

Yes, Lightning and Mater are out from the Park's openinf until about 5pm. Then they have to head over for Pixar Play Parade at 5:15. On days where there is no Parade, they're out of there by 5 anyways.

They were out at their spot in Condor Flats when we were there just a couple weeks ago. I love seeing them there, they are so cute! And DD9 just loves Mater!

We never found mater and lightning out when we were there in September, but watched the parade twice for my ds to see them!

I think when we saw them a few weeks ago that they were listed in the entertainment schedule so you should be able to look there and see if they're scheduled to be out.

That's odd - ever since the parade started, we've NEVER seen Mater or Lightning out in their regular spots, even during the day, pre-parade times

I guess it varies.

We've never seen them either... I know the spot where they are "supposed" to be, but never have we actually seen them (except in the parade)

I think they're supposed to be there around 3 ish ? I'm guessing, though.

We saw them this past time that we were there and it was so cool getting pictures with them. This is what the area looks like :

Just to update, they were at their spot across from Soarin' the day we went looking. I think the schedule said opening to 5 PM. There was a photopass gal there but the second time we went around (I felt kind of rushed the 1st time and we were waiting for DH to rideshare Soarin') she was having problems with her camera. That was ok, we spent more time while she fiddled with her camera and I got some more cute pics.

They were also in the parade.

Oh I hope they are out...my son will go nuts! I think I'll keep that one quiet so not to disapoint if they are not out.

Oh my gosh that is so darned cute my DS4 is a Cars freak. We have somehow missed them everytime we have been. Hopefully we can catch them this time.
