Lightning Lane selections for part of a group

I am part of a family of 9 and we want to purchase LL Multi and Single passes for each of our park days but we have 3 different selections wanted for each group. Can each person pick for their group or is it all or nothing for the entire 9?

As long as you all have multipass purchased, you just select riders from your friends and family group while you're booking the LL. Not everyone has to make the same selection!

How about the option for each family to make their own selections? i.e.: My wife and I want to pick 3 rides that are different from Son and his family which are different than my daughters selections.
How can we each pick the selections we want?

That sounds as if you first make the purchase and then make the ride selections. That is not how it works. You cannot buy LLMP without making your initial selection(s). You have to select at least one attraction before you can complete the purchase. You get to see what time(s) you are offered for your selected attraction(s) before you commit to the purchase.

Each purchase has to have the same attraction selection(s) for everyone being purchased for. However, you don't have to purchase for all nine members of your family at once. You can break it down into three separate purchases, as you want. You can even break it down into nine separate purchases if you prefer. The potential problem would be if you wanted to ride some of the attractions together and each purchase group got different times.

You'll get to select from a list of eligible guests on your F&F list in the app. If you're set up properly, you can select everyone or just a few at the time. Someone else in your party can use the app to select their attractions and then purchase. You'll do the purchasing at the end. And the selections and purchases are done per day - so day 1 might be these people with these attractions. Then later you'll go back and can select a different sub-group and attractions for that day.....

Something to consider. Like I said, you don't actually pay anything until you agree to buy at the end of the selections. I'd recommend perhaps bringing up the app and doing a trial run to see how it works and the options it offers. If you have your entire group in you F&F, you should be able to pick and choose. Then perhaps have another member of your group bring up their app to do a separate group. Once you get a feel for it, just cancel.

Also, remember the person who makes the LLMP/LLSP selections is also the person who pays for it!!
