I guess this is what used to be called Multi Experience Pass, however, maybe it's been renamed "Select Experiences" since the regular old LL is now called Multi Pass.

At any rate, tonight I had an LLMP booked for FEA at Epcot and the ride was down at the beginning of my ride window, so I got this pass that works for many different rides at all 4 parks (i.e., for one of these rides, which one I choose to use it on)--and it's still good tomorrow (Saturday, the 14th) I believe because this happened so close to Epcot's closing.

I checked with a CM, who assured me that, yes, the pass would be good for any one of the listed attractions tomorrow.

But now I have a question: How does the system distinguish between this thing which I'm just going to refer to as MEP and an LL I booked for a specific ride?

Example: I have an LL booked for Soarin' tomorrow. How will the system know that I'm using that LL I booked for Soarin' and not the MEP? Because of course I want to save the MEP for a ride I don't already have an LL booked for.

I hope I've made this clear. If not, I'll be happy to try again. The point is, I don't want to waste this MEP-ish thing on a ride I have a booked LL for.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Tomorrow you just click on the MEP and select the attraction that you want to redeem it against. Just remember that if you use the MEP first it will not count as your first LLMP so you can't unlock Tiers by using it or Multi Park LLMP selections until you tap in to one of your regular LLMP's.

It can be confusing until you actually use your first one.

So, if I understand you correctly, tomorrow I have to choose the experience I'm going to use it on. Then it's locked in to that experience.

But . . . what if I won't know what I want to use it on until later in the day? Can I wait, knowing it'll still be there at 5 p.m. or whenever and not accidentally used for something I didn't intend it to be used for?

I do understand that it'll expire tomorrow, since it clearly says it's good for September 13 and 14.

Thanks again, Dave.

You don’t have to select anything in the app. Just tap in to the ride you want to use it on and it will take the MEP if you don’t have another LL for that ride valid during that time frame.

Using your Soarin’ example, if you tap into Soarin’ during your reservation window the system is smart enough to use that LLMP and not your MEP. If you are outside of that window then the MEP will get used.

A word of caution, the grace period around your reservation window is considered to be outside the window and your MEP would get used in that situation.

Fun fact: in the Genie+ days you could scan in early (like several hours early) for any regular LL you had booked and the system would take that later LL and leave your MEP in your account. If that LL was your most recently booked you could book another one after scanning and repeat the process with that one.

They closed that loophole with the launch of LLMP in July.

That trick was known as Accelerating and it did work very well, especially at Disneyland.

This was super helpful, because I often use my LL during the 15-minute-after buffer. I shall be quite careful today.

Thank you!
