my daughter and son in law tried renting an ECV last year - the claim was that it was easy to take apart and put together, so that they could carry it in their rental car from the resort to the parks..

but it turned out that it was way way way way way way way too heavy for them to lift, even after taking it all apart...

my son in law is the one with the broken back (literally - his back was broken in a fall from a 50 foot high cliff - the vehicle he was on falling on top of him) - so he is unable to lift anything that weighs a lot..
and my daughter, who is actually relatively strong, wasn't able to lift it into the car either..

so they returned it right away and instead rented one each day at the parks..

so my question is, does anyone know of a lighter weight ECV that can be rented in orlando?

thanks in advance!! :)

The real light scooters are expensive. There's one called a Luggie. You can do a search for it. I like this scooter because it has a lot of power and it can do everything a regular scooter can do.

Tzora Classic Portable Electric Scooter is another choice.

The travel scoot is a one piece, extremely light scooter. It does not run in reverse and it doesn't have a key to it. For security reasons I'd rather have a scooter with a key.

There are some foreign models that seem quite interesting, but I wouldn't know where to begin with them.

i'm so confused as to what to get for him...

does anyone know the difference between a 3 wheel and a 4 wheel (besides the obvious - one more wheel)..

is there a difference in stability? that is, is the 4 wheel more stable?

4 wheel is more stable but doesn't turn as well the scooter should be based on the weight of the one using it. Someone that weights 300 pounds needs a bigger heavier scooter to have enough power to get through a day
