Now, I know here in the UK we dont have much in the way of exciting weather (1 inch of snow brings the country to a standstill and more than a week of constant sunshine sees hosepipe and sprinkler bans
) so this might seem a bit tame to you guys in the US! But we did have a humdinger of a storm the other night - unlike most UK storms (2 flashes of lightening and 2 thunderclaps then its over!) this one lasted awhile - long enough to set up my tripod.
Never shot lightening before so it was trial and error! Settings were Tv mode 2 seconds, aperture f/7.1, ISO100. Lens set to manual, focus on infinity. These two were my faves.
