Lighted Kindle Cover Question

For those that have the one from Amazon for the Kindle 3, is your light hard to pull out? It is a very clever design but gosh its hard to extend. Last night I actually drew blood on my finger trying. Are yours that tight, or do I have a defective cover?

I have the lighted cover from Amazon, and my light isn't very hard to pull out. The trouble I have is that the light doesn't always work. But it turns out that I don't really need the light anyway, so it's fine.

If your light is that hard to pull out, it does sound like something is wrong with it.

My light isn't too hard to pull out, though it did stop working on my last cover. I called Amazon and explained the problem and they replaced it for free! I suggest you both do that!

I prefer not to have a cover on my kindle when reading so for the rare times I need a light, I bought the Kandle by Ozeri on Amazon, just clips on, is adjustable to whatever angle you like. Small, fits right in my small purse.

I have the Kindle3 and the Amazon lighted case. I have never had a problem with pulling out the light. It is snug, but not painful to extend.

I daresay that you might have a defective case, and returning it might be your best option. You might want to try visiting your local Staples store (they carry the Amazon cases) and see if you can get a replacement there.

I have the same over and it is not hard to pull out the light at all. I have not had any problems with my light working either. OP, I would contact Amazon and exchange it.

mine is snug but no bleeding from trying. i think you're right to call about it.
