HI all!

Several years ago, I was able to do a wine and cheese dinner with reserved seating for the Electrical Light Parade. We're going back to DL this summer and I'd like to do that again (especially since Fantasmic! is down while we're there), but I haven't been able to find anything on it. Has it been discontinued or am I looking in the wrong places?

Thanks!!!
Michelle

Here is what they emailed me last fall. I would guess there will be some small changes when the parade starts running again (I would expect a $2 increase in price).

Disney’s Electrical Parade: ($56 for ages 10 and up, $46 for ages 3-9, 25 seats available)

View this classic Disney favorite from the picturesque patio of the Golden Vine Winery in Disney’s California Adventure. Adults can enjoy a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage accompanied by a platter of meats, cheeses and bread. Children are served milk, juice, or soda, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and Mickey –shaped corn chips.

· Tickets can be purchased through Vacation Planning by calling (714) 300-7526, option 2 up to 30 days in advance. Credit cards only are accepted by phone.

· Tickets obtained through Vacation Planning can be picked up with Guest’s itinerary
(when staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels).

· Guests should check in one hour prior to show time. Seating will begin 30 minutes before the show starts. Tickets are subject to availability and non-refundable!

It will be down for a week or so at the end of June- for the premier party of Pirates. Sorry, I dont know the exact dates, but you can get them on the Disney calendar. It around June 20-26 or something like that. Be sure to double check if that is around your trip time.

I spoke to Disney CS and it will be down 1 day for the premiere when they close the park at 1700.

I hope that's the case, but I know it's not listed on the park hours pages for the days I'm going to be there.

Thanks for the info hlbtimes2 - that's exactly the package I did, except way back when it was Mondavi wines! I figured if I can't have dessert over Fantasmic a glass of wine over the parade would be the next best thing!

I had heard the rumor from a friend who was just there, so I wrote. It appears that the right hand does not know what the left is doing. I can't imagine what the traffic will be like thru that area if it will be closed. Bad enough during the summer. Looks like we will see.

Have a great day,

When my DH called two days ago he was told the website was correct and Fantasmic/Tom Sawyer Island will be closed the entire week to get the bleachers set up.

Thanks for the info. That is a real bummer. You would think Disney could accomplish this in a reasonable period of time. Unfortunately we are committed to this time period. Bummer!!!

Last summer when we were there, we made dinner reservations for the Tratoria (?) before the electrical parade, and then were allowed remain there for the parade. Great view, and the food was good.

Hi Michelle:
We did this preferred seating at the restarant terrance and were disappointed. We didn't eat first and the olives, cheese, meat and wine was not filling. We are not big eaters. But more importantly the view was blocked by the trees. We eventually walked down the ramp in front of the terrace to get a better view. This terrace was not designed for parade viewing at all with the trees there. There may have been better tables, but not many things were booked so we pretty much had our pick of tables and all views were obstructed to some degree.
