Exiting a ride vehicle can be extremely dangerous. Someone may remember the story about the guest who decided it'd be fun to get out of their log on Splash Mountain and ended up getting crushed between two logs. I believe they made it on to the set of a tableau but slipped trying to re-board a log. This was maybe...20 years ago?
Also I think someone tried to stand up on Space Mountain, got beaned in the head and did not survive. I hope I'm not making this up or mis-remembering.
In any case, it's hard to believe there aren't cameras everywhere on WDW property. I'm wondering if maybe they just didn't have the staff to address the sitch on LWTL?
You really don't have to go that far back to see proof of lifetime bans being a thing. Right after World reopened, there was that pastor who got thrown out for refusing to wear a mask. He's officially banned. Also, I happen to know someone in security, and I was told that there are at least a handful of bans every year.
Maybe I'm just a punk but the only thing I could think about when I saw the video was "what if her legs get cut or caught under the boat." That would be my biggest fear.
I also feel that the guy who got out of the boat to get her was annoyed with her. I feel that he was trying to help but he should have stayed in the boat too.
