Lifeguards at SB get a big thumbs up!

Yea for Rwe and YD's son!!! :bounce: And a big thank you to all of the life guards that work so hard at their jobs!!!!

:D Congratulations on raising such a good son. You must be so proud! :bounce: :D :Pinkbounc

KWNVIKING, how thoughtful of your wife not to want to traumatize those poor young girls.;)

We have also notice how great the lifeguards are at the Disney resorts. I have to put in a word for the HH DVC lifeguards. Last week we saw these lifeguards - watch the pool, face paint, run craft booths, drive the beach shuttle, run the campfires, teach dances at the Pool party, take kids to the movies, and many other jobs. They all were great with the kids and boy could they clear a pool when they heard thunder! Each morning the guard would go over all the rules for the slide before they opened it. They were great!!!

We spent quite alot of time at SAB when we were there in April. My 2 youngest, ages 4 & 5 loved the smaller slide. Michaela could just touch bottom and Sierra was short by a few inches. All the guards let us stand off to the side, then help the girls when they got down. It was very tiring, catching one, taking her to the steps to go back up and being back to the slide by the time the other one came down. The youngest didn't watch for us once and started down. The female guard alerted us that she was coming down by herself and we rushed over and DH was able to catch her. We were so grateful. The lifeguard was so nice and attentive, of all those kids, how did she remember that this one needed help. She said she saw her start down, then realize it wasn't time yet and she said it was funny to watch her try to figure out how to get back up the slide. All the lifeguards there were amazing and attentive and also some of the friendliest people I have met. I am sure the heat and the kids have to get to you after awhile but they never showed it.

Congratulations RweTHEREyet and YesDear to your son for doing such a great job! Please let him know we are very appreciative of his efforts.

I, thankfully, have never had to see the lifegaurds try to save someone. I have watched them though and saw that they were very diligent in their duty. Thank you to all the lifegaurds for everything you do!

My 3 friends and I were at BCV in May. It was a very hot week and we decided to spend one day at SAB. We had eaten breakfast, but were so busy getting in and out of the pool that I think we forgot to keep ourselves hydrated. After about 4-5 hours by the pool we decided to go to beaches n' cream to get some lunch. I turned my head for two seconds to look at the menu and the next thing I heard was one of my friends yelling for help. My other friend had passed out on the floor and started to seize. I don't think 3 seconds went by and we had two lifeguards and two managers there to help. The lifeguards were able to help my friend regain consciousness and were so attentive. The EMS eventually came to check her vitals and everything (she was very dehydrated so we sat and ate and drank lots and lots of water!), but a big thumbs up to everybody at the BC - they are prepared for every emergency! Earlier that day we had commented because they were doing lifeguard training at SAB - Disney's guards have to be the best I've seen!!!
