Lifeguarding CP

Does anyone know anyone or themselves that was a CP and a Lifeguard. I'm trying to get information but it's really hard to get anything out of anyone.

My son is currently a CP (Fall Advantage 2011) and is working as a Lifeguard at the Disney Yacht and Beach Club Resort. Send me any questions that you have and I would be glad to answer them for you. He loves lifeguarding for Disney. They train you through Ellis and Associates to become Disney certified.

I had a roommate and close friend that were lifeguards. I don't know a lot about their roles, but I know some of the tests they go through, like having to dive to the bottom of the pool to get a brick(or some object) and you pretty much have one shot! Also my friend was always scared about this random test they would do throughout his program. They would throw a dummy in the pool and test how long it took for him to notice/react.
One plus is that lifeguards get paid more! If only I was a good swimmer

I was a lifeguard at the GF. I had to go in 7 times. 2 vats (the random testing) and 5 kids. It is a good job. If you get hot you can cool yourself off by jumping in the pool. It is so complicated because it can be so boring but then suddenly your heart is racing and you have to know how to stay calm and react appropriately.

my aforementioned friends did NOT like when they had to jump in the water, all because they got wet! my roommate would always complain along the lines of "i had to get wet today." I always found it funny, being a lifeguard and not wanting to get wet!
