Life jackets and towels at BWV pool

Are there life jackets and towels available at the Boardwalk pool (the one with the clown slide)? If so do you need to take your room key to get one or are they available pool side? DH likes to take the kids swimming while I nap and usually can't be bothered to take his key. Thanks. Also are there bathrooms there?

You can get a life jacket from the community center (at the villa pool). Yes you must show your room key to get one. There are bathrooms at both the villa pool and main pool.

You can request a life jacket at the beginning of the week and return it when you check out.

I have done this and it is very convenient.

we used to love the BW pool because it has a pool bar that served hotdogs and PB&J sandwiches (we have 5 kids). last year we were dismayed to find out that they eliminated those and now just have fancy, expensive, adult sandwiches. i think they are trying to discourage families and make it more of an adult resort (despite the clown slide)

anyway, if you want a dog or something kid friendly you have to walk all the way out to the boardwalk, wait in a line, and carry it back to the pool area. a royal pain.


but its a great place. we were just there a few weeks ago.

you can also rent movies at the community hall.

There have been times when they gated Luna Park pool and you needed to show your room ID to swim. Pool towels are in the bins around the pool.

We have written many letters about the lack of offerings at the Luna Park pool bar. Its too bad. My kids always had hot dogs, nachos, popsicles. Now they have basically nothing. I keep complaining but to no avail. I guess not enough people have complained.
