So often we focus on the things that get us down that we don't recognize all of the good in our lives. Why is YOUR life good today?

My niece gave me a poem book she made in school and she dedicated it to her Cool Disney Aunt.

Also I am leaving in the morning on a 3 day casino trip with my mom.

Right now my three kids are driving me absolutely bonkers... it's constant noise and chaos. Life is good because I have three healthy kids that are here and able to drive me bonkers! And now we're off to yet another practice.

. I have a wonderful DH that loves Disney and me. We both have good jobs, own a home and have great happy families on each side. I have a beautiful cousin in CA that has survived her breast cancer this year.

Splurged on fancy Whole Foods for dinner.

Took the baby to swim lessons where he was the star pupil (ok, so I got lucky and my little one loves the water). Next had lunch with my good friend who's been battling breast cancer for 5 years now - every time we get to spend with her is a good day! Then dinner and ice cream with ds and dh. Pretty great day all around.

Today I got to bring my brand new iPad2 into my classroom to help my mentor teacher collect data on how using the iPad and iPod touch in a Special Education classroom can be benifical to the students. I'm helping her write a grant to get them into her classroom next year! It's amazing to watch these students work!

My kids are healthy my husband is great and we have a home and food and everything else we need. Life is good amen!

Life is beautiful because I am a year older today and I have a wonder life. Wonderful family, great friends, good health......what more could I ask for?

Life is beautiful because I just got done watching a video my DD posted of my DSiL playing horsey ride with my 4 month old grandson, who was smiling and giggling the whole time. The reason this is extra special is because baby Caleb was diagonosed last month with eye cancer. He is going through chemo treatments and is doing well with a good prognosis. Thanking God!

My ds(17) ran a 1/2 marathon yesterday and beat last year's time by 26 minutes. - I'm so proud of him, he trained really hard for this race and it paid off.

He also smoked his uncle, so he has bragging rights for a year!

Life is good because . . .

I've rediscovered the joy and happiness good friends bring to your life. For years we considered ourselves "homebodies" and never really socialized; the past six months we've been going out more with friends (about 4 families with similarly aged kids), turning Sunday night into a regular saying good by to the weekend laughfest. Life's too short not to laugh.

Life certainly is good! Many prayers for baby Caleb.

I was thinking life is very very good today because our youngest is going to be a 7th grader after school is out tommorrow (last day of school for our kids) and he remains healthy (he is a leukemia survivor). PLUS we leave Tuesday for 5 days at SSR!! WOOHOO!
