Well yesterday I decided I'd go ahead and buy those rooms I just never gotten around to purchasing- and bought the Nautilis room, old Space room, Frontierland shooting gallery and the tiki tiki island room.
Well as I purchased them I named them- and most of my room names tend to be a reference to something else or some pun or something- and my tiki room ended up being "Life is a Beach"
Well I then went from room to room and put down some of my random stores of furniture I had- and when I was in Life's a Beach- a friend popped in and shortly after another did as well- Friend 1 actually says "send me a message on the other site" and "my name is the same there as here"- boom warning popped up for her and the other- but not me
A little later more friends show up- one telling me "you are so going to get into trouble for this room title" and that is when I realized that oops I might get into trouble for it- at the time my room was full with 3 mickeys and a wait to get in- dh says I was third on the list- so random guests also started coming in- but I knew most people in the room and all were discussing that there is a beach in here- and the name shouldn't be a problem- and so many were saying beach over and over- referencing the beach in the title of the room and the one in the room- no one was using it in a bad conotation-
Shortly after this I noticed that many people disappeared from my room- I figured dc'd or off to do something else.
Later I'm back in my "Life is a Beach" room putting down a river piece and attaching it to my existing river- (Thanks Quiet Lil Fairy
) and another friend walks in and tells me that one of the people in the room got banned for saying beach in my room earlier- and how it wasn't fair- and how some are really upset... While we are talking he gets a warning (I didn't)
Pixie-Stick popped in and commented she was surprised I was getting away with the room name- and I agreed- decided to not push my luck to much- but still skirting the edge- I added at in the title so now it is "Life is at a Beach"
I was able to finish my ride and even play a little fireworks before the usual dc- and getting off for the night-
Today I find out that many many people who were in the room got warnings- I've only heard of the one ban though... dh and I didn't get any warnings at all for the night...
I'm guessing the room title brought attention to the conversations going on in the room- but just wanted to post a warning to others- to be cautious- seems some of the corrections are getting a little more random- mind you a few were expected (the one who said something about sending her a message- is constantly saying stuff- just a matter of time before she is banned lol)- but others- from my recolection of the conversation were no warrented...

I personally like beaches I live near one, but the water is always freezing. I wish people would have the maturity to use the word "beach" for it's real purpose.
