Life in prison or death?

So the other day, a kid in my history class said this:

"I'd rather die than spend my whole life in prison."








And it got me thinking.............

I kind of agree with him. This kid is like really "bad". Like hes been to Juvie(sp?) gets ISS's all the time, etc. But this was something interesting he actually said that made me agree with him. I mean why live if you are gonna die there anyways? So, I'm gonna ask you...

Would you rather die or spend the rest of your life in prison?

But....in the U.S. life in prison usually means a maximum of 50 years...I guess it depends on how old you are? But 50 years is still ALOT of time.
