Life Couldn't Get Much Sweeter!

In 14 days, DD and I leave for Orlando. We will be attending MNSSHP on October 31st. We will be staying at the Swan for the first time. I got a good AP rate and I'm really looking forward to staying there.

While in Orlando, we will be meeting with the builder who will begin building our new home. It will be in a subburb of Orlando called Windermere. We will be about 10 minutes from WDW and about 5 minutes from Universal.

November 26th will be my last day of work at the company I've been with for 30 years. I am retiring and we are moving to Florida. Our house will be ready sometime around June.

I feel so lucky to be retiring at age 51 and moving to a place that I dearly love!

We will be making a quick trip to Orlando in January to meet again with the builder. I haven't booked a room yet. I'm trying to decide where we should stay since this will probably be the last time we will actually stay at a WDW hotel. Suggestions!

If it were me, I'd go back to my favorite hotel for one last time or if there was one that I'd always wanted to try but hadn't because of expense...well, I would splurge and try it!

WOW is right. We leave early 10/30 and come back 11/6. 4 of us dh, ds 6 1/2 and dd 5 and me of course.

DW and I lived in Parkville and near Gladstone about 20 years ago. Would love to be neighbors in Fla.

We will be there on 10/31 too! It should be a fun time, I'll be with a fairy and two fireman mickey's oh and not to mention dh as the Big Bad Wolf, lol.

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone! We are leaning toward staying at AKL for our January trip.

I am so excited. I'm having a really hard time staying interested these last few weeks at work.

I'm sure that I will run into many of you over the next few years. I plan on spending a lot of time roaming the theme parks. I am an avid people watcher. DD tells me that I am overly friendly. How can anyone be OVERLY friendly? I have a tendency to start a conversation with anyone who is willing to talk to me. Just look for the lady who likes to chat!!!!
