I had my masters program orientation tonight. I was completely shocked to see that one of my professors was my 4th grade elementary teacher!!!!!:earseek: I could not believe my eyes! It was really fun, and he in fact mentioned that during his introduction! I was just stunned, and it is amazing to me how life can go full circle! I remember I loved him as my 4th grade teacher, he was so fun. I couldn't wait to tell DH because we were in the same class, and his parents were neighborhood friends with the teacher! Amazing!

My sister just started teaching last week straight out of college and she's back in the district we grew up in... she still can't call her old teachers by their first name, they will continue to be "Mrs Davis" LOL

Mrs Davis was her 2nd grade teacher, btw.

She's LOVED getting to know all those teachers now... their real personalities and such ;)

That's really cool! My dad was a teacher for 30 years (retired now). He taught my dh (sophmore year) 8 years before I met him!

My parents are both teachers at the same school. It's really amazing how many people I meet that have had my dad (never met anyone who had my mom:confused: ) In fact, two people on my street have had my dad. One of my HS teachers had my dad. And just the other day I bumped into one of my teachers from middle school; her parents live on my street.

These were neat posts!
My mom took a Windows95 course
in '95 (of course) and had my
beloved Technical School teacher
that I had for my last 3 years of
high school - and I graduated in '81.

And I'm not making fun in the least,
I just couldn't resist:
Everybody sing,
"It's a Small World After All, It's a Small World..."

I hope others post their stories, too!
Thanks for sharing yours...

Very cool! :)

I'd be scared to see my 4th grade teacher, Sister Xavier.....she was one nasty nun!

I loved my 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Adams......and I just realized I started 4th grade 34 years ago next month, because that was when my youngest sister was born!

Thanks for the cool stories and good wishes! It truly is a small world! LOL!!! 4th grade was a long time ago!!!! 27 years ago!!!:earseek: :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:
