Life at WDW after ownership

It is much more relaxed. You don't feel that pressure to see and do everything because you know you will be back.

Very much so for my family. Now, we take time to enjoy the resorts, not every minute rushing around the parks.:goodvibes

I will echo what most people already said...it is much more relaxed because I know I am going back we were just there in July and last month decided we would go for Easter. We booked a villa and are driving. It will cost a fraction of what it could cost. We are mostly doing universal parks but because I have dvc we are excited about exploring other things to do.

We have been owners since 2010 and each time we go is like the first for us. What I mean is, we all get just as excited about our upcoming trips as we did when we were getting ready to go on our first trip (and we go at least twice a year). I too agree that DVC allows you to vacation more at a relaxed rate. Yes we still go to the parks a lot while we are there, but instead of going to them at full force without any breaks, now we look forward to heading back to our resort and just hanging out there for a few hours in the day to just relax or go swimming...to us the resort is just as important as going to the parks and I have found that our vacations are more for the resorts with the added bonus of 4 major theme parks, 2 waterparks, and DTD that are all near by :goodvibes. I also love the 1-bedroom accommodations (haven't stayed in a 2-bedroom yet), I love the fact that there is a whirlpool tub in the master bath, more space to move around, a full kitchen, and my personal favorite the washer/dryer in the unit. And when we want to utilize our points to the fullest, we don't mind staying in the studios. Congrats on your contract and Welcome Home :goodvibes.
