Life after death???

Thank you everyone who has given their condolences and shared an inspiring story with me. I am grateful to have this board to vent and get support. IM sorry to all of you who have lost someone as well. I plan to get a cremation pendant and wear Mom's ashes close to my heart. I have yet to experience a sign from Mom. She knows that something like that would prob freak me out. I do wish I have a spiritual feeling at some point in my life. Maybe would help me be less pessimistic. Thank you again....I enjoyed reading.

Thank you for sharing your loss with all of us as well.... As an Atheist who does not believe in a higher power or an after life let me just provide you with some words of encouragement since reading your words has given me the impression that you are being very hard on yourself for not having a spiritual experience. I don't want to tell you how to grieve for as I stated in a prior post everyone grieves differently but don't be hard on yourself, if there is a spiritual force out there it/he/she will let you know, there is no need for you to force it.....I know what your going through is hard but to not feel something "spiritual" isn't pessimistic it's just how your mind works.....My suggestion is to take a drive someplace secluded someplace beautiful like a nice hiking trail, river bank or meadow and just sit and observe and be with nature. Let the warmth of the sun come over you and just think about the ones you have lost, think about the good times and just let it all sink in and smile.....Like I said I don't want to tell you how to grieve it is just a suggestion, and something I have done and continue to do...You will be amazed how comforting sitting alone in nature can be
