Life... After B.O.B

My baby in Germany!! A friend of ours had dinner with him last night!!

Just popping in to say hi. It's been a hard month, especially for Sean. Besides losing our friend Rick, he also lost his Grandfather 2 days ago. Then to top it all off our niece is coming to stay with us for hopefully a month or so. She actually coming to hide from her boyfriend that broke her nose on Sunday, it's been very hard for him not to take care of that situation either if you catch my drift. Thankfully her mom has temporary custody of their baby, due to the violence in the house. Ready for this month to be over.

On a brighter note my baby boy turns 21 tomorrow. He's done a lot of changing this past year and we are very proud of him.

That's awful, hope it all works out. It's great she has you for support.

Stacy is doing just fine except for some backaches. :thumbsup2

I just asked her this morning if the time went fast for her too. She said the first few months did, but now she's ready to "get this little boy out". :rotfl:

We're hoping she isn't too early though as we will be out of town for a few days next week. I sure wouldn't want to miss out on this. :guilty:

Those last few weeks are awful. I hope it goes by fast for her and you. :goodvibes

Looks like we're in for another stormy night tonight. On Monday a tornado touched down about 30 minutes from our house. Two of chuck's drivers lost their homes. Then last night, we got slammed again. We lost cable, internet and phone service at home and it doesn't appear that it's back on yet either.
Now I'm reading the weather and we're getting hit again! More storms predicted to hit this city in about 15 minutes....just in time for me to leave work. :sad2:

Hope I don't turn into Dorothy tonight. :headache:

:wizard: For luck! We have really been lucky this year all of the tornados and bad stromes have stayed north of us. Indiana has been taking a beating too. Is there anything we can do for the families you know that have lost their homes?

:grouphug: from us. You have really had a bad month. I am glad your niece has you all to turn to. That is such a sad situation for all involved. My sister in law was in a very abusive marriage and it too her a long time to get out.

Awww thanks Leisha. I don't know what is going on right now but I do know that Chuck's company gave both men off (with pay) for two weeks to get things settled a bit. Quite a generous offer if you ask me. :)

That's awesome! Not to many companies would do that for their employees, sounds like Chuck works for a great one. Keep safe neighbor.

"Well Clark, If he grabs ahold of your leg..." you know the rest dont ya pp?:rotfl::laughing:

Sure do! I've watched that movie at least a dozen times already if not more. My favorite Christmas movie. It never gets old. :rotfl2:

We're not in harms way Becky. Just winds, rain, thunder, lightning, flooding, mud slides, hurricanes, (off Lake Michigan), cyclones, typhoons, ...:goodvibes

Seriously, we're just fine and we weren't threatened. But I guess one of the girls here at work had her house severly damaged. I was wondering why she hasn't been around since Monday but being the "new girl" I don't know that much about the folks here.

Great pictures!! It looks like every one had a wonderful time!!
