Hello All!

I have a question on refillable mugs!!

Does the lid leak if you turn the cup upside down?

Could I attach that cup to myself with a carabiner clip and not get wet by it?

THANKS!

Yes they will leak if turned upside down. They are your typical
convenience store type travel mug. The round, fat type with the open hole in the top or the thinner type to fit in a cup holder.

Yep I agree! That would make for a huge mess!

The lid seemed secure. You slide to open/close the opening to drink. Unless that gets opened we did not have any problem with leakage. I saw many cups attached to clips. Keep in mind, I don't believe you can refill your hotel cups at the parks (at least I couldn't) so we did not bring ours.

Let me tell you my little story about refillable mugs.

There once was a girl who was staying at WL and would fill her refillable mug up with tea (with lots of added sugar) and would drink a little while waiting for the bus. On this particular day she was going to Epcot. She wasn't really in the mood for the tea that day so she closed the lid and put it upright in her D&B bucket purse up against other things so it wouldn't turn over.

Fast forward to 9:30 p.m. that night. Girl was having a great time with family and all decided to ride Soarin'. And with that they got on the ride and had a great time. Going to depart from the ride, the girl reached for her bag underneath the ride seat. She discovered a sweet tea pool in her bag. The bag didn't look wet from the outside but everything inside of it (including cell phone, wallet, etc.) was going for a nice swim. Girl felt like an idiot.

The End.

I don't know the girl personally (;)) but she forgot it was in her purse (so I'm told) before getting on the ride. So, through expermentation, the mugs do leak.

On a plus note I (I mean she) found out that D&B purses apparently hold in liquids. Good to know. See, the silver lining? :teeth:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Toooo Funny! NeverlandClub23 - thx for the much needed laugh - at your (I mean her) expense.
