We have done many of the character meals at WDW. We have never tried Libery Tavern and was wondering what you thought? How does it compare to others? Is the food good? Is it buffet style? Thanks for your help!

It's family style. They bring you platters and bowls of food to serve yourself. Think your family Thanksgiving dinner.

You get flank steak (kind of like brisket), turkey and ham. Plus the side, mashed potatoes, gravy, etc.

Liberty tree Tavern is great for families. They serve you turkey, beef, mashed potatoes on one big plate and you have to share family style. Plus it is a great price for such a great place with great food, great atmosphere and a great view of the Spectro Magic Electronic Light Parade.

We did the dinner character meal the last time we were at WDW. The lunch doesn't have the characters but the dinner does. It's usually Minnie, Chip, Dale, Meeko and Pluto. We were only two adults but they came to our table and spent as much time with us as they did at the tables with children. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere is great. We usually do at least two character meals but had never tried this one. It's now one of the ones we'll do often. I think you'll really enjoy it.
