Liberty Tree had a character dinner when we went in 2008. I don't see it listed. Does anyone know what happened to it? Actually the whole character meal list seems smaller this year :(

They got rid of the characters a few years ago. They still have the Thanksgiving style dinner thou. It is ashame because we did the character dinner there back in 2005 and really enjoyed it, one of the best character interactions that we had. Now we go for lunch, since there is no more characters, we like the menu at lunch more.

Characters were discontinued in January 2009. The menu and prices remained the same - the only difference is the absence of characters.

I loved the Colonial Mickey and Minnie! The pictures were adorable. I still like the restaurant but wish they still had the characters. We just ate there and right when we were leaving, the Electrical Light Parade was starting so we had perfect viewing. Made the experience even better.

We weren't big fans of dinner. I think the characters were the only reason we went back once more and then that was it. We did try it for lunch about a year or so ago and now it's a must-do on our list. We went for lunch again this past trip and loved it just as much. LOVE their Colony Salad!:thumbsup2 I just posted my review from our lunch there on my website.

We love the food there and agree, it was great with the characters.

We were there late one evening and all the characters started to play Tig with the children. It was great fun

We had dinner there this past July 4th and the food was really good. We did lunch there later that week and enjoyed it just as much. And PP is right: we got to step right out and see the parade!

We had breakfast with the characters there last year because they were renovating the Crystal Palace. It was my favorite character meal, the food was good and the characters were awesome. I wish they'd bring that back, I like to do my meals in the parks.
