Liberty Tree, Tony's or Plaza Restaurant?

We just returned yesterday from our trip and had dinner at the Plaza. It was one of our favorite meals! The sandwiches were delicious and so fresh. It was a nice relaxing place to cool off. The kids all loved their meals as well. We paid out of pocket and you really get your money's worth! It is definitely on our list for next time.

Definitely recommend Liberty Tree Tavern! Nice, relaxing atmosphere and really good food. I also think this would satisfy a picky eater the best, as the food is basic (but good quality) all American. If he doesn't like sauce, stay away from Tony's! They have the most disgusting marinara sauce!

I was happy to read through this post - we had exactly the same question a month or so ago! We decided to add another ADR to a day in the MK and were considering these same factors. We decided on a late lunch at LTT. Based on the posts here, I think we'll be happy with that decision. Thanks, OP, for posting this!

THanks all - I showed the kids the menus, and they voted fro Plaza (because of the Mickey ice cream!). Actually, the little guy voted for LTT, only because it's close to Haunted Mansion (his favorite!).

So I think we'll go ahead and book the Plaza - it sounds like it will be just fine for us!

This is what I was going to suggest. Paying out of pocket it is the most reasonable cost. The food isn't out of this world exciting.. but it is tasty and enjoyable for sure.

We really liked Liberty Tree, but I think you can't go wrong with any of them. The only caution I would give you about LTT is the bathroom is upstairs and it is really small. If you decide to eat here, try to remember to hit the bathroom elsewhere BEFORE you check in for your ADR.

I would vote for the Plaza-we really enjoyed our meals there last year but to follow on from the theme in the above, take the kids to the bathroom BEFORE you go into the Plaza-they don't have loos at all! And you know the only time you ever need a bathroom during a meal is when there isn't one available!.

You cannot go wrong with either LTT or Plaza. DH and I are from the Northeast and Disney Italian food just doesn't cut it. We went to Tony's once and it could not have been worse than if they put ketchup on the pasta.

Liberty Tree by a mile. Tonys food when we went tasted like it was a Lean Cuisine meal and it was my husbands birthday and they had to be reminded to sing happy birthday. The restraunt was dirty and the service was subpar. We were there with 5 kids and the waiter did his best to avoid our table.

Have been to all 3 for lunch...for relaxation factor, The Plaza wins by far (also less expensive)

Liberty Tree is PACKED at lunch and very, very hectic. Tony's is also very busy and we found it exceptionally noisy (even for a Disney restaurant...seems like sound bounced off the walls in there.) Although both were nicely air-conditioned, we just didn't find either of those places relaxing at all.

The Plaza...much less busy, quieter and great view out the windows (Castle!) Good sandwiches and great desserts.

Another vote for The Plaza! We've always loved the food, we love the shakes, and we love the atmosphere. It is adorable and relaxed. It is extremely reasonably priced compared to the other two and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Tony's. We've been twice for dinner. The food, service, location, and decor are good. I Lady and the Tramp too.
