Liberty Tree Tavern

Hello All,

Hope everyone is having a magical day out there. So I have been to many disney restaurants on property, and we went to liberty tree tavern last night to celebrate the 40th anniversary of MK and Disney world. It was a great evening, minus some craziness from other people in the park but we had a wonderful dinner. I think this is a place that often gets overlooked by the wonderful food they serve. We were able to do a walk up for 4 people, with just a 15 min. wait, that was the most awesome part!!! I loved it!!!!

We started off with a great salad and dinner rolls, then came the main course of steak, turkey, pork, apple chutney, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, mac and cheese, and homemade gravy. It was just splendid. The meats were great, oh and it had stuffing. We ate so much food. Everything was great and seasoned so well, and the best part, it is all you can eat. Then out came dessert, an apple bread with craisins, caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream, so great!!!! It was such amazing food, and soo good, this is a must do on my list again!

I agree my DD and I went there for lunch and it was so good. She had the fried mozzerella, I had soup and we split a turkey lunch platter. They divided the platter into 2 plates and we both still ended up with too much food. One of the only places where we loved everything about all the food! I can't wait to go back.

We ate there on the 27th for lunch and everyone loved their food. We had turkey and pot roast and sticky toffee cake for dessert. It was all super yummy, I like that home cooking type food and it was one of my top 2 meals of the trip.

I love LTT. It's my favorite TS @ WDW. But...did they change the dessert?? I only ever had hot apple pie w/ ice cream. Does anyone know if I can request the ooy gooey toffee cake @ dinner instead of the current dessert??

I'm also curious about that. I hate apple pie, and the Ooey Gooey Toffee cake is probably my favorite desert in WDW.

when we went the toffee cake was only at lunch, it was truthfully the only reason I picked lunch over dinner

Great review! We love LTT too. Haven't been since the characters left (had QSDP last year) but it is a fav. Love to go at Halloween time and see the staff dressed like HM. I'm assuming they still do this on MNSSHP nights.

I had not eaten there on any vacations, I now help create some magic over in pirates, and knew it was a secret a gem, and so figured lets give it a shot, and it was wonderful
