I had a reservation for 1900 Park Fare, when I re-looked at my schedule I thought we might be cutting it to close to Spectromagic so I changed the reservation to LTT thinking we'd be closer for the parade and then wishes. UG had good reviews for it and we didn't care about the characters at Park Fare since we have other character meals booked and ds 2 doesn't really know Cinderalla. On a couple other threads though I'm seeing LTT get some pretty bad reviews. Was this a poor choice?

We went for the first time in August and loved it. It like a mini Thanksgiving meal. It was great and would definately go back.

I've eaten at LTT twice and have ADRs for it again in April. Good choice in my opinion.

Just keep in mind LTT doesn't have the characters anymore. The meal there is okay, but IMHO not worth the money without the characters. If we go back there it will be for lunch. Maybe you could do lunch there (also no characters, though) and do a counter service for dinner?

We enjoyed it. I thought it was one of our better ADRs last November. I am hesitating going back without characters, plus there are many other places we haven't tried yet.

I think their food is great if you're craving Thanksgiving style food! It's a shame about the characters though. My DS 2 loved it last time with them, but I'm not sure he'd be able to last without the characters being there.

My dh and ds love thanksgiving style food, but they like it homemade, I heard a couple people on other threads compare it to frozen dinners.:scared: eek.

I did consider going there for lunch and doing counter service for dinner but since my son is only 2 and I'm not sure if we will be needing to go back to the room for a nap in the early afternoon I pretty much made table service meals for dinner since I'm more sure of our schedule in the evenings.

I'm not a fan but there are many other people that are. I get enough of the "colonial" stuff here at home, I prefer not to be subjected to it in Florida :) (and I've never cared for the food, very bland and ordinary IMHO)

Lunch is a lot better there than dinner. They used to have sweet tea but it was moved to Columbia Harbor House (because Lord knows you can only have too much sweet tea in FL ;) ).

We love it. Everytime when we go to DW, we always make a reservation for LTT. Even though the characters won't be there, oh well, the food is still good.

It's good food, no frills, kinda like every day meat and potatoes, American fare. As far as pricing, I think most of Disney's food is high price, very few of its restaurants are 4 star much less 5 but they get away with charging as if they were.

I miss the ice cold sweet tea on a hot day!

We did it last April, and really enjoyed it. It was our only character meal, and the character interaction was wonderful. We're not booking it this time, mainly because the characters are gone and we're replacing it with Chef Mickey's. The food was great! We saved this for our last night's dinner, and it was perfect. It was a nice change from the other things we had eaten during the week. I can see us going back there in a couple of years. Good meat & potatoes place.

Remember that the dinner and lunch menus are different. The lunch is from the menu, but the dinner is a fixed menu. I hear the lunch is good, also, but the dinner was wonderful.

Just a couple quick questions? Do they have a kid's menu for dinner? Or are the rolls white bread? My middle son loves mac & cheese so he'll do okay, but the youngest won't eat anything on this menu but the rolls and then only if they are white.

I wasn't thrilled about it. I love Thanksgiving dinner, but this doesn't even compare to homemade IMO.

That said, it wasn't horrible, just very blah.

If you are looking for fancy, quality food, "foodie-type" food in an upscale atmosphere, LTT would not be the place for you.

If you are looking for good, old fashioned fun comfort food in a relaxed themed environment, LTT is perfect!

We went during Spectro last year & got a less crowded spot on the restaurant porch to view the parade.

We haven't gone since the character meal disappeared ( :guilty: ), but I'm sure it's still fun.

People who give bad reviews complain that it's not fancy quality food, but it's not meant to be that type of place.

We went when the characters were there, but just for the characters. Sorry, I can get Stouffers at home if I want that kind of stuff. To be fair it is better than TV dinner food, (but not by much). Without the characters, we feel it's not worth the price. Lunch is good though.

We'd eaten there twice and liked it very much. But last summer we went again and it was positively dreadful on all counts. Won't go back again.
